It is finished.

The final breath, the veil in two,
The ancient curse forever through.
No more the shadow, no more the chain—
The Lamb has conquered, the Lion has slain.

It is finished.

The debt is paid in crimson flood,
The grave is empty, the tomb is good.
What hell had stolen, heaven restores;
The King has risen—death is no more.

It is finished.

Glorious dawn breaks over the night,
Hope like a river, endless and bright.
Every promise, every word kept true,
The battle is won—beloved, for you.

It is finished.

Victorious thunder rolls through the skies,
The saints arise with jubilant cries.
No power can sever what grace has sealed;
In Christ alone, the victory is revealed.

It is finished—
and all is made new.
Hallelujah.
The story is true.

Before The Throne Of Grace In Heroic Couplets by Debbie Harris

We come not as the condemned before the bar,
Where Justice wields her unrelenting scar;
No guilty hands hang limp in dark despair,
No downcast eyes await the sentence there.

But lo! we stand before the Throne of Grace,
Where Mercy shines upon the sinner’s face.
Why, then, O soul, this sadness veiled in night,
When Heaven’s King invites thee to His light?

If thou wert called to justice’ awful seat,
Thy trembling frame might justly fear defeat;
But now the Sovereign in His silken love,
Robed in compassion from His throne above,

Bids thee approach with joy, with sacred fire,
And let thy countenance in gladness shine entire.
No more the weight of sin thy spirit binds—
The blood of Christ has loosed all guilty chains.

Lift up thy head, let holy delight arise,
Let praise ascend as incense to the skies;
For thou art favored, called, and dearly known,
Before the King who claims thee as His own.

Rejoice, beloved, in this boundless grace,
And meet His gaze with unveiled, radiant face.
The Throne that once would strike now bids thee sing—
Draw near, O soul, and worship Christ the King.

Jesus Christ, the Living Light That Transforms the Soul by Debbie Harris

As the world grows darker still,
thread by thread the shadows weave,
yet Christ the Light of all the world
shines steady, pure, and unconquered.

No eclipse can quench His glow,
no tempest drown His gentle call;
He splits the night with mercy’s dawn
and lifts the weary, one and all.

Where fear would dim the human heart,
His radiance finds the hidden seam—
a single spark of holy flame
that turns the darkness into dawn.

When humble repentance whispers low
and faith unbars the iron door,
salvation pours like golden dawn
across the soul’s storm-battered shore.
The heart once cloaked in midnight’s shroud
now burns with heaven’s living fire—
a fountain of eternal water
where hope becomes not self, but Christ —
His glory shining in the Cross.
In Jesus’ gaze, the eyes of grace
transform each view from dread to gold;
what once seemed loss now blooms in grace,
and every pathway leads toward home.

So let the gloom do what it will,
the Light has already overcome;
in Him we rise, in Him we stand,
till every knee and shadow bows to Him.

The Lord Reigneth: Let the Earth Rejoice in His Unshaken Throne by Debbie Harris

(Inspired by Psalm 93:1–4; 97:1)

The Lord reigneth! Let storms rage on and roar,
The floods rise high with thunder in their might—
Their crashing waves pound loud upon the shore,
A wild and furious noise that shakes the night.

They lift their voice in chaos, fierce and deep,
The thunder of the waters fills the air,
Yet high above, where endless glories keep,
The Lord is stronger—calm beyond compare.

No roar of mighty seas can shake His throne,
No pounding waves can drown His holy word;
The noise that once would leave the heart alone
Grows still before the power of the Lord.

O weary soul, when troubles crash and cry,
When fears like breakers break upon your shore,
Lift up your voice and let this truth reply:
The Lord reigneth—peace forevermore!

Let earth be glad, let trembling hearts find song,
For He who rules is Love, forever true;
Amid the roar, His reign remains so strong—
Rejoice, be glad: the Lord reigneth in you!

We Are All the Least of These: A Confession of Empty Hands and the Wings of Undeserved Grace by Debbie Harris

Lord,
You take the least of these—
the small, the overlooked, the trembling ones—
and give us wings.

And if we are all honest,
we are all the least of these.
For this is how salvation is wrought:
knowing we are all indeed sinners,
the least of these.

Broken, empty-handed,
we come—
and still You call us
beloved.
Praise Your name!
Praise Your name forever.

He Is Still Sitting at the Well: A Poem of the Samaritan Woman, Living Water, and the Invitation That Never Fades by Debbie Harris

Noon burned the stones where Jacob’s well lay deep,
She came alone, the sun a heavy rod,
Avoiding eyes that judged her soul in sleep,
A woman marked by sorrow and by God.

Five husbands gone like shadows from her hand,
The sixth no husband, only fleeting fire;
She drew her water in a barren land,
To slake a thirst no mortal could inspire.

He sat there waiting, weary from the road,
A stranger Jew who spoke when none would dare;
“Give me to drink,” He said, His voice bestowed
A grace that pierced the noonday’s scorching air.

She marveled, questioned borders drawn by men—
“How can You ask, when race divides us still?”
Yet He replied, “If you but knew Me then,
You’d ask of Me, and drink to quench your will.”

The living water rose within His words,
A spring that leaps to life and never ends;
No jar, no bucket, no more empty herds
Of broken loves where loneliness descends.

“Sir, give me this,” she cried, her heart awake,
That I might thirst no more in shame’s dark chain.
He saw her past—each vow that bent and brake—
And spoke her secrets, yet without disdain.

“You’ve had five husbands, and the one you keep
Is not your own.” She trembled at the sight
Of truth laid bare, no wound too wide, too deep
For Him to touch with undeservèd light.

The Messiah stands before you now, He said,
I AM—the One who breaks the chains of night.
Her veil of midday solitude was shed;
She left her pitcher, ran into the light.

“Come see a Man who told me all I’ve done!”
She called through streets where once she hid her face.
The outcast voice became the rising sun,
And many ran to meet Him in that place.

They heard Him speak, they tasted of the stream,
The water flowing free from shame’s old well;
No longer slaves to yesterday’s bad dream,
They found in Him the truth they could not tell.

O wanderer, you too have come at noon,
Carrying jars of disappointment’s weight,
The cycles spin, the hope consumed too soon,
The heart grown dry beneath the desert’s hate.

He waits still at the well you daily tread,
Not judging, but inviting: “Drink of Me.”
The past that haunts you, every tear you’ve shed,
He turns to rivers flowing full and free.

No longer run to lovers who betray,
To wells that promise much and give but dust;
The Living Water calls your name today—
Come, taste, be filled, in Him alone you trust.

The shame you buried, He will bring to bloom,
The broken story woven into grace;
What once was drought becomes eternal room
For joy that time nor tide cannot erase.

So leave the jar, the old familiar pain,
Run tell the city what your eyes have seen:
A Man who knows you, yet loves without chain,
The Savior waiting—He has made you clean.

And if the world still whispers, “You are lost,”
Let Heaven’s answer thunder through your veins:
One encounter shifts the ledger’s cost,
And living water floods the arid plains.

He sits there still, though centuries have fled,
By every well where thirsty hearts draw near;
Come now, beloved, lift your weary head—
The hour is here. The Living Water’s here.

Behold the Beauty of Unmerited Righteousness: Through the Faithfulness of Jesus Christ, Offered to Every Believing Heart by Debbie Harris

Lo, from the shadowed law’s unyielding throne,
Where mortal striving falters, dust to dust,
A brighter righteousness is now made known—
Not forged in works, but wrought in endless trust.

Through faith in Christ, the faithful Son who died,
God’s very justice flows, a boundless stream;
To every soul that turns, whate’er betide,
It comes as gift—no barrier, no deem.

No Jew nor Greek, no bond nor free, no high,
No low-born wretch excluded from the call;
All have transgressed, yet all may lift the eye
To Him who justifies the great and small.

O sweetness infinite! That grace so free
Should robe the sinner in unspotted light,
And bid the blind behold what none could see—
The Lamb’s pure merit shining through the night.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saves,
Redeems the lost, and crowns the contrite heart;
In Christ alone the soul no longer craves,
But rests secure, where righteousness imparts.

Then sing, my soul, of mercy undeserved,
Of faith that tastes the honey of His love;
For God is just, yet justifier preserved—
Through Jesus’ blood, our pardon from above.

What truth more sweet could heaven itself afford?
Righteousness by faith—for all who come to Him.
Believer, taste and see your sovereign Lord:
In grace begun, in glory perfected. Amen.

The Devil Does Not Fear a Mighty Cathedral Filled with Multitudes; He Trembles Before a Humble Church on Its Knees in Prayer, Where Two or Three Are Gathered in the Name of Jesus Christ by Debbie Harris

No towers grand nor throngs that fill the nave
Strike terror in the dark prince’s breast;
He mocks the pomp of marble, gold, and stave,
Where multitudes in idle worship rest.

The bells may ring, the organs thunder loud,
The crowds may surge like rivers to the door;
Yet Satan smiles amid the pious crowd,
For empty hearts leave heaven’s gate ajar.

But lo! when humble souls in secret meet,
Two or three gathered in the Savior’s name,
Their whispered prayers ascend on wingèd feet,
And Jesus comes—His presence kindles flame.

Then trembles hell; the ancient serpent flees,
His kingdom quakes before such quiet might.
No sword of man, no host in panoplies,
Can match the power of contrite souls in light.

A single candle lit by faith sincere
Outshines the blaze of ten thousand torches bright;
In lowly prayer the victory draws near,
And darkness yields unto the Lord’s true light.

O devil, fear the closet, fear the knee,
Fear hearts united, bowed in Jesus’ name;
For where His Spirit dwells in unity,
Thy reign is broken—evermore the same.

Hymn: The Triumphant Cry of the Ransomed: Forever Perfect by One Sacrifice

Hebrews 10:14 (KJV)
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

In dawn’s unquenchable aurora, blazing wide,
Where ancient glooms dissolve in floods of tide,
One Offering—supreme, resplendent, whole—
Hath perfected forever every ransomed soul.

Forever perfect! Forever free!
By one offering, victory!

No more the crimson streams on altars spent,
No shadowed hands in trembling sacrament;
But Christ the Victor, robed in living flame,
Illumines His own with His transcendent name.

Forever perfect! Forever free!
By one offering, victory!

Forever perfect—O triumphant cry!
Though grace still works its slow, refining fire,
And pilgrim souls are daily lifted higher,
Yet stands the verdict: spotless, justified!

Forever perfect! Forever free!
By one offering, victory!

In righteousness ablaze they stand arrayed,
With choral throngs where sapphire glories cascade.
The single stroke that rent the veil in twain
Unloosed pure cataracts of rapturous refrain:

Forever perfect! Forever free!
By one offering, victory!

“Hosanna! Worthy is the Lamb once slain!
By one offering endless light we gain!”
Rejoice, ye saints, in ceaseless, diamond glee—
His offering hath crowned eternity!

Forever perfect! Forever free!
By one offering, victory!
