Dear Reader,

From the Poet —

If these lines find you weary, burdened, or simply longing, know this: the gospel I have tried to capture here is not mere poetry — it is living truth. When the Holy Spirit unveils the glory of full forgiveness and Christ’s imputed righteousness, the heart cannot stay silent. I wrote this in awe, with tears, that you too might taste the same wonder: every sin — past, present, and future — nailed to His cross, and in their place, His perfect record counted as yours.

May these words lift your eyes to Jesus, stir holy tears, and kindle fresh worship. He is worthy.

With reverence and joy,

The Poet

• Colossians 2:13-14 — “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”

• Hebrews 10:14, 17 — “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified… And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

• Isaiah 43:25 — “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”

• Micah 7:19 — “He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”

Imputed Righteousness of Christ

• 2 Corinthians 5:21 — “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

• Romans 4:5-6 — “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works.”

• Romans 5:19 — “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

• Philippians 3:9 — “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

Just as if I Never Sinned (No Condemnation)

• Romans 8:1 — “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”

• Psalm 103:12 — “As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”

Surpassing Worth of This Grace

• Philippians 3:7-8 — “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.”

• Matthew 13:45-46 — “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

When blinding light at last breaks through

And every sin—past, present, new—

Lies cancelled in the crimson flood,

Submerged forever in His blood,

Then bursts the soul in speechless awe:

All guilt erased by sovereign law!

Imputed righteousness divine—

Not earned, but counted wholly mine!

The spotless record of the Son

Becomes my own, and I am one

With Him who bore my curse and shame,

Now robed in glory as His name.

Just as if I never sinned,

I stand accepted, reconciled within.

O doctrinal diamond, pure and bright,

More radiant than the noonday light,

Outvaluing the gathered gold

Of empires old and worlds untold—

This single gem of grace supreme

Outweighs the universe’s dream.

My eyes dissolve in holy tears;

My knees sink low, my spirit hears

The whisper of redeeming love

That lifts the guilty far above

All thrones and powers, all earthly boast,

To rest in Christ, in Him engrossed.

I weep, I worship, I adore

The Lamb once slain, now evermore

Enthroned in majesty and grace,

Whose every breath bids mercy blaze.

What tongue can tell, what heart conceive

The riches I in Him receive?

Take all the world—its fleeting store—

I count it loss forevermore.

For this: to know my sins are gone,

And Christ’s own beauty called my own—

This is the pearl of greatest price,

The fountain of eternal life.

Jesus, my Lord, my All in All,

Upon Thy name I gladly fall;

And till I see Thee face to face,

Let every breath proclaim Thy grace:

“Worthy the Lamb who took my place!”

Amen and Amen.

Psalm 33:2 (KJV)

Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

Dear Reader,

These words were written as an invitation—to lift your heart, your voice, and every instrument you have, not out of duty, but because of who God is. His truth, His unfailing love, His power to create and to rescue—these are the reasons our joy refuses to stay silent. May this anthem stir you to worship with abandon.

Praise the Lord with harp and soaring strings—

let joyful thunder burst from every chord!

Awake the psaltery; its ten bright rings

explode in triumph, singing to the Lord.

We sing because His word is true and right,

because His every promise stands secure.

He spoke the galaxies to blazing light,

and breathed this living, breathing world secure.

We sing because His steadfast love runs deep,

unfailing through the rising tide of years.

When fear would steal our joy or sorrow creep,

His mercy meets us, dries our hidden tears.

We sing because He watches over all—

the nations in His hands, the hearts that trust.

He rescues, shields, and lifts us when we fall,

and turns our mourning into shouts of dust-to-glory trust.

So strike every note with passion, bold and free—

let music leap and dance across the air.

No silent heart can hold this blazing sea

of gladness surging upward like a prayer.

Let brass and woodwind, drum and ringing bell

join in the glad explosion of His fame.

The rivers clap, the mountains laugh and swell,

creation joins the chorus of His name.

From quiet rooms to stadiums of praise,

lift every voice until the heavens roar.

The King of glory meets us all our days—

His endless love forever burns the more!

To God alone belongs this mighty song—

the reason for our joy, forever strong.

Passionate Pursuit of Our Savior’s Righteousness: A Holy Call to Vigilant Devotion by Debbie Harris

Note from the Poet

Dear Reader,

These lines were born from a heart keenly aware of its own frailty. In a world where temptation whispers at every turn, I have felt the Spirit’s gentle yet urgent call to look first within my own soul. How often do the lost pour their whole strength into fleeting sin, while we who know Christ sometimes drift with lesser zeal!

This poem is my prayer and my plea: that we would pursue the righteousness of our Savior with a passion that far exceeds the devotion of any sinner to their chains. May we examine ourselves daily, not in self-condemnation, but in humble dependence upon Jesus—clothed in His perfect righteousness, empowered by His Spirit, and drawn ever closer by His matchless love.

May these words stir your heart to run the race with fresh fire, fixing your eyes on Christ, who is both our example and our strength. To Him alone be all the glory.

In fervent hope and brotherly love,

The Poet

On Self-Examination and Vigilance

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”

— 2 Corinthians 13:5

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

— Psalm 139:23-24

On Temptation and Sin

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

— 1 Corinthians 10:13

On the Righteousness of Christ

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

— 2 Corinthians 5:21

“And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

— Philippians 3:9

On Passionate Pursuit and Zeal

“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

— Philippians 3:12-14

“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.”

— Romans 12:11

On Wholehearted Devotion

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”

— Luke 9:23

In Christ our Savior, source of perfect light,

We fix our gaze with hearts aflame and true;

Though sin surrounds like shadows of the night,

His righteousness becomes our bold pursuit.

With passion burning brighter than the lost

Who chase their fleeting pleasures to the grave,

We press toward the mark, no matter cost,

His holy ways our treasure, all we crave.

We search our souls beneath His piercing eye,

Confessing every stain that mars the soul;

Yet clothed in Him, we rise and testify—

His blood has made the broken sinner whole.

O Jesus, draw us nearer to Your throne,

Ignite our zeal to follow after Thee;

More fiercely than the world pursues its own,

We run the race, Your righteousness to see.

In fervent love we mirror Your pure grace,

Devoted wholly to Your will divine;

No lesser fire shall ever take Your place—

Our Savior’s righteousness forever mine.

Lord, fan the flame within this yielded breast,

That we may live as beacons in the strife,

Passionately following Your righteousness,

Bound to Your heart for all eternal life.

Dear Reader,

From the poet’s heart:

This prayer was birthed in quiet reverence and laid as a living offering at the feet of the King of kings. May these words, adorned with royal imagery drawn from the very courts of heaven, serve as gentle, gem-filled stepping stones for your soul — drawing you ever closer to His throne, awakening fresh awe, deeper surrender, and a burning desire to walk in His holy ways.

May we arise as royal heralds arrayed in His splendor, faithful ambassadors of the cross, and bold proclaimers of our Savior’s glorious gift of salvation — freely offered, lavishly poured out, purchased by His precious blood — so that every wandering heart, captive soul, and weary pilgrim might be pointed with joy and urgency toward His resplendent eternal palace and unveiled face.

Scriptural Foundations (NKJV)

Royal Throne & Majesty of the King

• Revelation 4:2-3, 8-11 — Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. … The four living creatures… do not rest day or night, saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty…’ The twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: ‘You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.

• Hebrews 1:8 — But to the Son He says: ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

• Psalm 89:14 — Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.

Commandments & Stepping Stones / Paths of Righteousness

• Psalm 119:105 — Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Righteousness, Holiness, Mercy & Justice

• Micah 6:8 — He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

Heralds, Ambassadors & Proclaimers of Salvation

• 2 Corinthians 5:20 — Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

• Isaiah 52:7 — How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!

Crowns, Blood of the Lamb & Eternal Kingdom

• Revelation 5:9-10 — And they sang a new song, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.

O Majestic Sovereign, enthroned in unapproachable light,
High above the seraphim and the ceaseless choirs of heaven,

May Your sacred commandments—
Those flawless, golden royal decrees,
Forged in the unquenchable fires of Your eternal wisdom
And sealed with the blood of the Lamb upon the throne—
Become our minute-by-minute,
Gem-encrusted stepping stones of celestial glory:

Sapphires of unyielding righteousness, deep as the sea of glass,
Emeralds of transcendent holiness, verdant as the courts of Eden restored,
Rubies of mercy aflame with the compassion of the pierced King,
Diamonds of justice pure and radiant as the first light of creation’s dawn,

All hewn from the inexhaustible treasure vaults of Your throne room,
Cut by the hand of the Ancient of Days, polished by the breath of the Spirit.

Paved in breathtaking splendor across the tapestry of our fleeting days,
Like a grand processional path of living jewels and burning stones,
Winding through valleys of shadow and mountains of trial,
Beneath the unfurled banners of Your victory,
Woven with threads of grace, embroidered with threads of sovereign love.

So we, Your humble subjects and blood-bought heirs of the Kingdom,
May cast our tarnished crowns before Your nail-scarred feet in awe,
Bow low beneath the scepter of Your boundless mercy and iron rule,
And with voices lifted like a multitude of heralding trumpets and resounding shofars,
May we be heralds, trumpets, and ambassadors
Proclaiming Christ’s free gift of salvation
To every wandering heart, every captive soul, every weary pilgrim,
Pointing them toward Your resplendent eternal palace,
The radiant courts of Your holy presence and unveiled face,
Where night is banished, and glory never fades.

There, in the blazing light of Your unveiled face,
we will walk these living paths of jeweled glory
and lift unceasing songs of praise
through every season, every age,
until the kingdoms of this world
become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ—
who reigns with You, O Father,
in the perfect, eternal communion
of the one Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
world without end. Amen.

The Laodicean Heart: Rejecting the Love of Money, the Demonic Prosperity Gospel, and Returning to First Love by Debbie Harris

From the Poet

Dear Reader,

This poem is born from the urgent warning of Revelation 3 and the piercing insight of John W. Ritenbaugh: we have too often traded the pure nourishment of God’s Word for the world’s spiritual junk food. The love of money — not money itself — is the subtle root that feeds Laodicean complacency. True wealth can be a powerful tool in the hands of a faithful steward who uses it for the glory of our Triune God: feeding the hungry, supporting the gospel, and advancing His kingdom.

But the prosperity gospel is a demonic perversion — another gospel that the Apostle Paul warned must be accursed. It dresses greed in the language of faith, promises earthly crowns while robbing souls of the Cross, and leaves multitudes wretched, poor, blind, and naked while they feel rich.

If you have drifted into lukewarmness, hear Christ knocking today. Repent, return to your first love, and serve Him wholly — whether in abundance or in need. He remains faithful; His security for His own is sure. Let this be your awakening, not your condemnation.

May the Great Physician heal what the love of mammon has wounded.

In His service,

The Poet

We sipped the world’s sweet wine at ease,

And called the vintage rich and fine;

Our tables groaned with gilded feasts,

Yet starved the soul of bread and vine.

The love of money whispered low,

A golden calf in velvet guise;

Not money, but the lust for more—

This root of evils blinds our eyes.

One may possess great wealth with grace,

And steward all for Triune God—

To feed the poor, advance His work,

And spread the truth where feet have trod.

Yet false prophets arose and lied,

A demonic gospel, slick and bright:

“Faith brings wealth and health and ease—

Your best life now, by seed and sight!”

This wicked twist, this twisted word,

A false “gospel” born in hell’s own fire,

Feeds Laodicean hearts with lies,

Promising crowns while souls expire.

“No need of Thee,” our ledgers claimed,

As barns o’erflowed and hearts grew cold;

We bowed before prosperity’s throne,

And worshiped what our hands had framed.

No thunder shook the cushioned pew,

No altar flame demanded all;

We drifted soft on lukewarm seas,

Content to heed the siren’s call.

“Rich, increased,” the mirror lied,

In garments bright and eyes half-blind;

We judged our strength by what we owned,

While cancer gnawed the hidden mind.

The love of riches, deep and sly,

Spread tentacles through thought and deed;

It choked the Word, it quenched the cry,

And turned our zeal to withered seed.

Two masters called, we tried to serve

The self and God with equal art—

But hearts divided rot and split,

And scatter like dry leaves apart.

O wretched, naked, poor, and blind,

Though gold we clutched with fevered fist,

The Great Physician stands outside;

He knocks through every storm and trial—

“Repent, and let Me come inside.”

Arise, O Laodicean soul! Reject the lie of mammon’s priests,

Cling to the Cross—be hot, not least!

Grace that triumphs, mercy wins,
Hallelujah! Joy begins!

We Are Seated in Triumph: By One Offering He Hath Perfected Forever the Sanctified by Debbie Harris

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
— Hebrews 10:14 (KJV)

By one oblation, offered once for all,
The spotless Lamb hath wrought the end of strife;
No more the altar smokes with victims’ fall,
No priestly hands repeat the toil of life.
He, seated high at God’s right hand, doth reign,
And waits till every foe beneath Him lies—
The final triumph of His cross is plain:
Perfected evermore, the sanctified arise.

What endless toil the ancient shadows knew,
The blood of bulls and goats that could not cleanse;
Yet in His flesh He bore the curse anew,
And by that single stroke made full amends.
The veil is rent, the sanctuary flung wide,
Access is granted to the holiest place;
No condemnation now can e’er betide
The souls He hath perfected by His grace.

O glorious victory! The war is won,
Though tempests rage and sin still strives below;
In Him we stand complete, the battle done,
His righteousness our everlasting glow.
Forever sanctified, forever free,
We march as conquerors beneath His banner bright;
The Captain of salvation’s sure decree:
One offering perfects us in endless light.

Rejoice, ye saints! Lift high the victor’s song,
For death is swallowed up, and hell o’erthrown;
In Christ alone the ransomed souls belong,
Perfected ever by His work alone.
No merit ours, no striving of our own—
His cross the triumph, His blood the seal divine;
Thus rests the soul upon the Cornerstone,
Victorious now, and evermore to shine.
