The Biblical Inversion: The Last Shall Be First – A Promise of Hidden Glory Revealed by Debbie Harris

No gentle balm, this promise cuts like flame—
A biblical inversion, wild and unafraid,
That topples every ledger carved by fame,
Where worldly crowns and loud applause will fade.

The quiet ones, the overlooked, the mocked,
Who toiled unseen through long, unthanked night’s shade,
The passed-over, belittled, slandered, blocked—
They are not lost. Their hidden weight is weighed.

The proud who clawed their way with breath and name,
Whose echoes rang on tongues that time will still,
Will stare astonished at the great reordering’s claim,
As thrones of sand dissolve beneath God’s will.

Exquisite mercy dignifies the small
Without demanding they grow loud or bright;
It whispers low: your unseen integrity stood tall,
Your endurance when no cheering crowd took flight.

The love poured out with empty hands returned,
The truth upheld though status bled away,
The small fidelities no scroll has earned—
These are the currency that heaven will repay.

Jesus proclaimed it through a hundred signs:
“Who humbles self shall rise, who exalts shall fall.”
He showed it in the vineyard’s equal lines—
Late workers paid the same as those who bore it all.

He spread the banquet wide for crippled, poor, and blind,
While first-invited turned with cold excuse;
He weighed the widow’s mites, so light, so kind,
And found them richer than the rich men’s loose.

This word will not erase the present sting—
Slander still wounds, unseen feels like slow death—
Yet it reframes the fire: your suffering can sing,
The very forge that qualifies you for first breath.

So lift your head, beloved—not in pride,
But quiet confidence beneath the King’s decree.
The last shall be first—His royal word, not a lie;
The Author delights in reversals wild and free.

The world’s loud heroes built on sinking sand;
The minimized laid stones where glory counts.
Hold fast—the story turns beneath His hand.
The night is long… but dawn of triumph mounts.

Hold fast, beloved, though the night seems long—
The great reversal thunders like a roar!
The last shall be first, exalted in His song;
Victorious, crowned, and lifted evermore!

The Rotten Fruits of Satanic Deception: Immorality, Rebellion, Violence, and Perversions Versus the Christ-Centered Fruit of the Spirit – Know the Difference, for the Enemy Comes as an Angel of Light to Deceive Many and Send Souls to Hell by Debbie Harris

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

In gardens deep where shadows play,
Two trees arise at break of day.
One whispers sweet with stolen light,
The other stands in truth’s pure height.

The first bears fruit of Satan’s art—
Deception cloaked in angel’s heart.
Rotten at core, though fair to see:
Immorality in finery,
Rebellion’s pride that scorns the throne,
Violence that breaks the meekest bone,
Perversions twisted, dark and vile,
That lure the soul with honeyed guile.
“Freedom!” it cries, yet binds in chains;
“Light!” it beams, but endless pains.
The angel of light, with lying tongue,
Deceives the many—old and young—
Leads wanderers down the wide, smooth road,
To flames eternal, heavy load.
Its harvest rots before the eyes,
Breeds hatred, chaos, hollow cries.

But lo! The Tree of Calvary’s grace,
Rooted in Christ, in holy place.
Its branches heavy, ripe, and true,
Bear Spirit’s fruit for me and you:
Love that forgives and heals the deep,
Joy that sings though trials steep,
Peace that guards the troubled mind,
Patience in storms, serene and kind.
Kindness that serves without a score,
Goodness that shines forevermore,
Faithfulness that holds the line,
Gentleness like Master’s vine,
Self-control that tames the wild—
These fruits make pure the Father’s child.

Oh, know the difference, soul awake!
Test every spirit for heaven’s sake.
The enemy’s mask is bright and bold,
But leads to death in chains of gold.
The Christ’s own fruit brings life and light,
Transforms the dark to morning bright.
Choose well the tree your hands will tend—
Eternal harvest without end.

Discern the roots by what they yield:
Rotten ruin or Spirit-filled.
For many walk the deceiver’s path,
Yet narrow way escapes the wrath.
Abide in Him, the True Vine strong,
And bear good fruit where you belong.

We Grieve Not as Others: A Song of Triumphant Hope by Debbie Harris

When sorrow strikes like tempests fierce and wild,
And hearts lie wounded by the grave’s dark claim,
We lift our eyes beyond the mortal veil,
For Christ has triumphed—death is not the same.

Precious in His sight is the death of His saints—
Not lost in shadow, but in glory crowned;
The Father calls them home where joy awaits,
And heaven’s courts with resurrection sound.

We grieve, yet not as others grieve who mourn
Without the victory that Christ has won;
For death is swallowed up in life reborn,
The sting removed— the battle fought and won.

The Shepherd leads through valleys deep and long,
His rod and staff a banner raised on high;
He turns our mourning to a victor’s song,
And wipes each tear beneath the open sky.

Though winter’s frost may bind the heart in gray,
The seed of faith lies buried but alive;
In blazing dawn of resurrection’s day,
What death once claimed shall in His glory thrive.

No more the parting, no the final breath—
The grave is conquered by the risen King!
The Lamb is Light, and life has conquered death;
In golden streets the saints forever sing.

Lift up your head, O mourner, bold and free—
Hope is no fragile reed but anchor strong;
What earth has lost, eternity shall see
Restored in triumph with the heav’nly throng.

The Comforter descends with power divine,
And in the hush the Father’s victory rings;
For joy erupts where once the sorrows pine—
Beloved, rise! The risen Savior brings.

Rest not in darkness—claim the victor’s crown;
The veil shall rend, and eyes shall clearly see.
Precious the saint now safe in glory’s dawn—
We grieve with hope, for victory is ours in Thee.

The Great Cloud of Witnesses: A Heavenly Throng Encircling the Race of Faith by Debbie Harris

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Hebrews 12:1 (KJV)

Beneath the vault of heaven’s boundless dome,
Where silver stars in silent vigil gleam,
A mighty cloud of witnesses has come—
Not mist of earth, but souls in living dream.

They rise like dawn along the eastern rim,
Abel with lamb, his offering still bright;
Enoch, who walked with God and never dimmed,
Transported pure into eternal light.

Noah stands firm on waves that roared and broke,
His ark a cradle ‘mid the deluge’s roar;
Abraham lifts his gaze through fire and smoke,
Counting the stars that promise evermore.

Sarah laughs soft where barren years once reigned,
Her child a miracle in withered arms;
Moses ascends where Sinai’s thunder waned,
His face aglow with unconsuming charms.

Rahab’s scarlet cord gleams like a rose in flame,
A thread of mercy binding foe to friend;
The prophets, scarred yet singing God’s great name,
Their voices blend where earthly trails descend.

They throng the galleries of timeless air,
A vast assembly, radiant and vast—
Not spectators cold, but witnesses who share
The fire that kindles faith steadfast.

Surrounded thus, we shed our heavy chains,
The clinging sin, the weights that drag us low;
We loose the burdens born of doubt and pains,
And rise to run where living rivers flow.

The track lies clear, marked out by ancient grace,
Through shadowed vales and peaks of golden day;
With eyes on Him who fixed His gaze in place—
The cross’s shame, the joy that lights the way.

O cloud of glory, shimmering and near,
Your stories gleam like constellations wide;
We press on swift, for love has conquered fear,
And heaven’s chorus calls us to abide.

So run, beloved, with heart aflame and free,
Till we shall join that throng beyond the veil,
Where every witness bows in ecstasy
Before the Lamb who makes all sorrow pale.

May the springtime scent of our fleeting days
Rise not for self, nor earthly praise,
But pour forth only Christ’s sweet fame,
The one true fragrance, ever the same.

Let every bloom that opens wide
Hide no perfume of human pride;
May petals fall, yet leave behind
The aroma of the Crucified.

Like dew that settles soft and still
On tender grass by heaven’s will,
So let our lives distill His grace—
Christ alone, in every place.

No other savor, no other name,
No blended note to share the claim.
Just Jesus—pure, complete, divine—
The only fragrance worth the time.

Arise, Ye Warriors of the Lamb: Be Valiant for Truth Amid the Reign of Lies by Debbie Harris

Awake, ye warriors of the Lamb,
Who wear the cross upon your soul;
No silken bed, no fleeting fame,
No timid heart shall reach the goal.
The trumpet sounds, the standard flies,
The ancient foe in darkness schemes;
Yet Christ Himself before us lies—
The Conqueror of our broken dreams.

In armor bright with heaven’s fire,
The belt of truth about your waist,
The breastplate guards the heart’s desire,
The gospel shoes make footsteps haste.
Lift high the shield that quenches flame,
The helmet strong to guard the mind;
The Spirit’s sword, God’s living name,
Shall cleave the lies that truth would bind.

The Captain marches, scarred and crowned,
His hands still bear the nail’s cruel print;
Through storm and shadow, blood-bespattered ground,
He leads where cowards fear to sprint.
No chain of fear shall bind the brave,
No whisper of the serpent’s art;
Though worlds may mock and powers rave,
His voice alone commands the heart.

Be valiant, then, for truth this day,
When falsehood cloaks itself in light;
When error wears a saintly sway
And wolves in sheepskin prowl the night.
Stand firm where compromise would creep,
Where silence seems the easier road;
The cross demands, the watchmen keep—
Their charge is heavy, yet their load.

Though wounds may scar and trials press,
Though brethren fall and banners tear,
The King who died will yet confess
The faithful ones who tarry there.
A crown of life awaits the true,
Where every tear is wiped away;
He turns our broken dreams anew—
In victory Christ holds the day.

Then charge, ye soldiers of the King,
With voices joined in battle cry;
Let every tongue His praises sing,
Till darkened realms to daylight fly.
No fortress built by mortal hand
Shall stand against His sovereign might;
We march beneath His high command—
Till every knee bows at His sight!

Love Your Neighbour II by Debbie Harris

O love your neighbour, though their wealth abound
And mock the humble bounds where you are found;
Let envy not consume your quiet breast,
Nor covet what in providence is blessed.
Rest content within your modest place,
And grudge them not their luxury or grace—
For greed that eyes another’s store with spite
Doth dim the light where charity burns bright.

Or if abundance crowns your days with store,
While near you languish those in want once more—
Regard them not as lesser souls below;
One blood the Lord hath given all to know.
The garment gleams with finer weave than theirs,
Yet every heart beneath His mercy shares.
Embrace them kindred, though in tatters dressed;
Love them as Christ hath loved the lowliest.

Yea, though your mercy meet ingratitude,
And scorn repay the good you have pursued—
Endure, press on, nor falter in the strife;
Love’s truest test is in the hardest life.
Heap coals of fire on hearts that turn away;
Seek not their favor, but your Master’s day.
If humankind reject your offered hand,
Heaven’s welcome waits—your labour shall not stand
Unseen or unaccepted in His sight.

Thus follow where the Saviour trod before,
Who loved the thankless, suffered, and yet more:
Through every trial, through scorn or calm serene,
Love your neighbour—let love forever reign.
In selfless giving, pure and undefiled,
You walk beside the meek and holy Child,
And find, within the offering of your soul,
The boundless wealth that makes the spirit whole.

O love your neighbour, though their coffers swell
With gold that mocks your humble, scanty cell;
Let not your heart in secret envy burn,
Nor wish their riches unto you return.
Be content in your lowly cot to dwell,
And grudge them not their feast or silken spell—
For coveting the proud one’s store is sin,
And poisons where sweet charity should begin.

Or if your purse be full, your dwelling fair,
And near you crouch the ragged, cold, and bare—
Despise them not as lesser in your sight;
One blood hath God ordained for all delight.
The coat may shine with richer thread than theirs,
Yet souls are equal ‘neath eternal cares.
Call them your kin, though in rags arrayed;
Love them as Christ the outcast ones hath stayed.

Yea, though your kindness meet with cold disdain,
And gratitude repay you but with pain—
Press on in love, nor faint upon the way;
The rougher path doth prove the hero’s day.
Heap coals of fire on heads that spurn your grace;
Seek not their smile, but seek your Master’s face.
If others reject you, Heaven does not refuse—
Your deed ascends, accepted in His views.

Thus tread the steps where Christ Himself hath trod,
Who loved the thankless, bore the cross for God;
Through storm or calm, through thickest scorn or thin,
Love your neighbour—let love the victory win.
For in this labour pure and undefiled
You walk with the meek and lowly Child,
And find, in the giving of your heart,
The richest treasure love can e’er impart.

The Great Invitation: A Canticle of Grace(An exalted poetic meditation on Isaiah 55) by Debbie Harris

Ho! Every thirsting spirit, every hollow heart in the dust—
Come! The waters rise unbidden, crystalline, inexhaustible,
From hidden fountains deeper than exile’s night, purer than forgotten dawn.
Come, though your coins are spent, your sacks hang empty,
Come buy—yes, buy!—without silver, without barter, without shame.
Wine that kindles joy in veins grown cold,
Milk that knits the broken frame and floods the famished soul,
Bread that satisfies where shadows once feasted.
Why squander sweat on chaff that scatters?
Why trade your labor for husks that mock the tongue,
For bread that turns to ash between the teeth,
For fleeting mirage that leaves the palate parched?
Hearken—O hearken with the inward ear that never sleeps—
And eat what is good; let your soul delight in fatness unmeasured,
In richness no market can weigh, no vault can hoard.

Bend low your ear, draw near, draw nearer still to Me;
Listen, and live—live the life that death cannot touch.
I seal with you My covenant eternal,
The loyal kindnesses sworn to David My servant—
Mercies steadfast as the polar star, sure as the turning seasons.
Behold: I have appointed him witness to the multitudes,
Prince and commander to peoples yet unnamed.
Nations you have never summoned will run to you,
Drawn by the splendor that clothes you,
Because the Holy One of Israel has exalted you,
Has set His glory upon you like a crown of living light.

Seek the Lord while breath still finds Him near,
While the door of seeking stands ajar.
Call upon Him while He may yet be called.
Let the wicked forsake his crooked path,
The man of iniquity abandon his venomous designs;
Let him return—return wholly—to the Lord,
And compassion will cascade upon him like thunder-rains after drought.
To our God let him turn, for He pardons with prodigal abundance—
Pardon wider than the sea’s embrace, deeper than the graves of memory.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor your ways My ways, says the Eternal Flame.
As the vaulted heavens tower immeasurable above this trembling dust,
So My ways rise exalted, My thoughts stretch vast—
Beyond the narrow compass of mortal fear,
Beyond the frantic calculus of earthbound minds.

See how the rain falls, how the snow descends from the high chambers of heaven:
They do not climb back until they have drenched the parched ground,
Until they have quickened seed to sprout, swelled bud to blossom,
Given seed to the sower, bread to the hungry mouth.
So My word proceeds from My mouth—
It shall not return to Me barren, void, or thwarted.
It shall accomplish the delight of My will,
Prosper in the purpose for which I dispatched it—
Irresistible as rivers that sculpt canyons through centuries,
Unfailing as the first light that shatters the longest dark.

Then you shall march forth in joy that cannot be contained,
Led forth in peace that stands sentinel at every step.
The mountains and hills shall erupt in song before you,
Bursting into melody fierce and jubilant;
All the trees of the field shall clap their hands in thunderous acclaim,
Limbs lifted like banners in the wind of triumph.
Where once the thorn drew blood and the brier tore the pilgrim’s flesh,
The stately cypress shall rise, fragrant and evergreen;
Where nettle choked the way and desolation reigned,
The myrtle shall spread verdant, resilient, and fair.
This transformation shall endure as an everlasting sign,
A name unfading for the Lord of Hosts,
A monument hewn not by hands, unshakable by time—
Eternal witness to the grace that summoned the thirsty home,
And turned the wilderness into a garden of unending praise.

For Such a Time as This: Christ’s Mighty Hand Delivers Iran Through Israel and the United States by Debbie Harris

In the ancient lands where prophets once spoke God’s word,
Persia—now Iran—groaned under demonic chains,
A regime of darkness, veiling truth, oppressing souls,
Mocking the Creator with its iron-fisted reign.
Yet the Lord who parted seas and toppled walls of old
Has not forgotten His covenant, nor His chosen kin.
He raises up nations under God, instruments of His will,
To shatter the yoke and let the captives begin again.

Behold Israel, the apple of His eye, steadfast and true,
Guarded by the Almighty through fire and through sword.
And the United States, a beacon once lit by faith’s pure flame—
One nation under God, indivisible, trusting in the Lord.
Through His mighty power these allies have struck as one,
In righteous fury against the tyrants who defied His name.
The supreme leader falls, the clerical fortress crumbles low,
As missiles of justice rain from skies ordained by Heaven’s claim.

No mere mortal scheme, but divine orchestration clear:
The Lion of Judah roars through Israel’s valiant stand,
While America’s eagles soar on wings of providential might,
Delivering blows that echo the Lord’s redeeming hand.
The devils flee in terror, their thrones cast to the dust,
Their false paradise exposed as a pit of endless night.
For where the Spirit of Christ moves, strongholds must yield—
Liberty bursts forth in the blaze of eternal light.

O Iran, ancient cradle of the Magi who sought the King,
Your people rise now, called by the Savior’s voice so near.
The house churches multiply, prayers ascend like incense pure,
As millions turn to Jesus, casting off every fear.
The women unveil in freedom, the youth proclaim His name,
The oppressed find refuge in the arms of the Lamb who was slain.
Through Israel’s courage and America’s faithful resolve,
God has wrought deliverance—His power alone sustains.

Praise the Lord of Hosts, who humbles the proud and lifts the meek!
He uses nations under God to fulfill His holy decree.
The regime of terror lies broken, its demonic grip undone,
For Christ reigns supreme—victory belongs to Thee.
From Tehran to the mountains, let every tongue confess:
Jesus is Lord, the true Liberator, forever blessed.
Israel and America, blessed instruments in His plan,
Have seen His mighty power deliver a captive land.

Hallelujah! The dawn has broken, the chains are no more.
In Christ’s name alone, true freedom forevermore.
