Who is the most beautiful,
the perfect, blameless, holy, just—
in all the earth?

Jesus Christ our Lord.

Spotless Lamb, crowned with thorns and glory,
Love incarnate, walking among the broken,
Righteous Judge with mercy in His eyes.

Seek Him with all your heart,
with every breath, with every tear,
until you find the One who sought you first.

He alone is worthy—
the Name above all names,
the only perfect beauty
this weary world has ever known.

We Are Seated in Triumph: By One Offering He Hath Perfected Forever the Sanctified by Debbie Harris

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
— Hebrews 10:14 (KJV)

By one oblation, offered once for all,
The spotless Lamb hath wrought the end of strife;
No more the altar smokes with victims’ fall,
No priestly hands repeat the toil of life.
He, seated high at God’s right hand, doth reign,
And waits till every foe beneath Him lies—
The final triumph of His cross is plain:
Perfected evermore, the sanctified arise.

What endless toil the ancient shadows knew,
The blood of bulls and goats that could not cleanse;
Yet in His flesh He bore the curse anew,
And by that single stroke made full amends.
The veil is rent, the sanctuary flung wide,
Access is granted to the holiest place;
No condemnation now can e’er betide
The souls He hath perfected by His grace.

O glorious victory! The war is won,
Though tempests rage and sin still strives below;
In Him we stand complete, the battle done,
His righteousness our everlasting glow.
Forever sanctified, forever free,
We march as conquerors beneath His banner bright;
The Captain of salvation’s sure decree:
One offering perfects us in endless light.

Rejoice, ye saints! Lift high the victor’s song,
For death is swallowed up, and hell o’erthrown;
In Christ alone the ransomed souls belong,
Perfected ever by His work alone.
No merit ours, no striving of our own—
His cross the triumph, His blood the seal divine;
Thus rests the soul upon the Cornerstone,
Victorious now, and evermore to shine.

He Is Not Here—He Is Risen Forevermore: A Majestic Classical Rhyme Retelling of the Resurrection Morning, the Road to Emmaus, and the Commission of Light from Luke Twenty-Four by Debbie Harris

When Sabbath’s holy rest had passed away,
The women rose before the dawn’s first ray;
Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary too,
The mother of James, and others with them drew
Sweet spices they had prepared with loving care,
To anoint the body of their Lord laid bare.

Very early on the first day of the week,
They came unto the tomb with hearts that seek,
And found the stone already rolled away;
They entered in, but where the body lay
Was empty now — no sign of Him they mourned.
Perplexed they stood, with wonder newly born,
When lo! two men in garments dazzling bright
Stood by them, filling all the tomb with light.

The women, terrified, bowed faces low;
The heavenly ones spoke gently, soft and slow:
“Why seek ye here the living with the dead?
He is not here; remember what He said
While still in Galilee, in days gone by:
The Son of Man must be delivered nigh
To sinful men, be crucified and slain,
And on the third day rise alive again.”

They recalled His words, and hastened back with speed,
To tell the eleven and the rest in need.
Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and the rest
Proclaimed the news, yet seemed an idle jest
To those who heard; they trusted not the tale.
But Peter rose and ran without avail,
Stooped down and saw the linen cloths alone,
And went away, marveling at what was shown.

That very day two disciples walked the road
To Emmaus, seven miles their heavy load;
They talked of all these things that came to pass,
With faces sad and hearts like shattered glass.
A stranger joined them, asking of their grief;
They told of Jesus, mighty Prophet brief,
Whom priests and rulers crucified that day,
Yet hoped He was the one to Israel’s sway.

Then He, beginning with Moses and the Prophets all,
Expounded how the Scriptures did foretell
That Christ must suffer, then in glory rise —
The Lamb once slain now claims the eternal prize.
Their hearts burned warm as He the pages turned,
Yet still their eyes were held till bread He earned
And broke it, blessing — then they knew His face:
The risen Lord, revealed in that holy place.

He vanished from their sight; they rose with haste,
Returned to Jerusalem, no time to waste,
And found the eleven gathered with the rest,
Who cried, “The Lord is risen indeed — blest!”
And as they spoke, the Lord Himself stood near,
“Peace be unto you,” He said without fear.
They trembled, thinking spirit they did see;
But He showed hands and feet, and said, “Touch Me.

“A spirit has not flesh and bones as you
Behold in Me — come, see that it is true.”
Then, while they joyed yet wondered still, He took
A piece of broiled fish and ate — the proof He shook
All doubt away. He opened then their mind
To understand the Scriptures, pure and kind:
Thus it is written, Christ must suffer sore,
Rise on the third day, and forevermore

Proclaim repentance and remission of sin
To all the nations, beginning from within
Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses true;
Behold, I send the promise of the Father to you —
But tarry in the city till ye be
Endued with power from on high, set free.
Then He led them out to Bethany’s height,
Lifted hands and blessed them in the fading light.

While blessing, He was parted from their sight,
Carried up to heaven in glory bright.
They worshipped Him with joy that overflowed,
Returned to Jerusalem with hearts bestowed
In praise and blessing in the temple courts,
Continually — the King of kings reports
His victory won, the tomb forever spoiled,
New creation dawning, sin and death recoiled.

Proclaim abroad the resurrection story,
From shore to shore, from age to age the same;
The risen Christ, the King of endless glory,
Abides with us—Emmanuel His name.
Hallelujah! Death has lost its sting;
The Lord is risen—let the heavens ring!

Psalm 71:15 (KJV)
My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

In ceaseless strains the tongue shall raise,
Thy righteousness in endless praise;
Thy saving grace, from dawn till night,
Shall flood the lips with holy light.

O boundless sea of mercy deep,
Where countless waves in glory sweep;
The voice, though small, in faith stands tall,
Proclaims the wonders of it all.

For who can number, who can tell,
The deeds of Him who doeth well?
Thy justice shines like morning’s ray,
Thy salvation turns the darkest day.

Through every hour, in joy or pain,
The heart shall sing the sweet refrain;
Thy righteousness, Thy saving power,
Eternal themes from hour to hour.

Though mortal mind cannot contain
The vastness of Thy vast domain,
Yet still the mouth shall ever show
The glories only angels know.

Thus let the soul in praises live,
And in devotion ever give;
Till heaven’s choir in triumph rings,
And endless hallelujah sings.

It is finished.

The final breath, the veil in two,
The ancient curse forever through.
No more the shadow, no more the chain—
The Lamb has conquered, the Lion has slain.

It is finished.

The debt is paid in crimson flood,
The grave is empty, the tomb is good.
What hell had stolen, heaven restores;
The King has risen—death is no more.

It is finished.

Glorious dawn breaks over the night,
Hope like a river, endless and bright.
Every promise, every word kept true,
The battle is won—beloved, for you.

It is finished.

Victorious thunder rolls through the skies,
The saints arise with jubilant cries.
No power can sever what grace has sealed;
In Christ alone, the victory is revealed.

It is finished—
and all is made new.
Hallelujah.
The story is true.

We come not as the condemned before the bar,
Where Justice wields her unrelenting scar;
No guilty hands hang limp in dark despair,
No downcast eyes await the sentence there.

But lo! we stand before the Throne of Grace,
Where Mercy shines upon the sinner’s face.
Why, then, O soul, this sadness veiled in night,
When Heaven’s King invites thee to His light?

If thou wert called to justice’ awful seat,
Thy trembling frame might justly fear defeat;
But now the Sovereign in His silken love,
Robed in compassion from His throne above,

Bids thee approach with joy, with sacred fire,
And let thy countenance in gladness shine entire.
No more the weight of sin thy spirit binds—
The blood of Christ has loosed all guilty chains.

Lift up thy head, let holy delight arise,
Let praise ascend as incense to the skies;
For thou art favored, called, and dearly known,
Before the King who claims thee as His own.

Rejoice, beloved, in this boundless grace,
And meet His gaze with unveiled, radiant face.
The Throne that once would strike now bids thee sing—
Draw near, O soul, and worship Christ the King.

We come not trembling to the Judge’s bar,
Where guilty souls in fear and shame would stand;
No thunderous voice condemns us from afar,
But mercy’s gentle scepter rules the land.

Why then, O soul, this sadness on thy face,
When thou approachest Heaven’s Throne of Grace?
If justice held thee in its stern embrace,
Thy hands would hang, thy eyes in dread abase.

Yet now the King in robes of love appears,
Silken with grace, with boundless favor crowned;
He bids thee draw with joy, dispelling fears,
And calls thee near where holy peace is found.

Let not thy countenance in sorrow bend,
But shine with sacred delight and holy fire;
For thou art favored, loved, and called His friend—
Come, child of grace, and lift thy heart entire.

The veil is torn, the blood has spoken peace,
No condemnation waits where grace abounds;
Rejoice, O soul, and let all mourning cease,
Before the Throne where endless mercy sounds.

Jesus Christ, the Living Light That Transforms the Soul by Debbie Harris

As the world grows darker still,
thread by thread the shadows weave,
yet Christ the Light of all the world
shines steady, pure, and unconquered.

No eclipse can quench His glow,
no tempest drown His gentle call;
He splits the night with mercy’s dawn
and lifts the weary, one and all.

Where fear would dim the human heart,
His radiance finds the hidden seam—
a single spark of holy flame
that turns the darkness into dawn.

When humble repentance whispers low
and faith unbars the iron door,
salvation pours like golden dawn
across the soul’s storm-battered shore.
The heart once cloaked in midnight’s shroud
now burns with heaven’s living fire—
a fountain of eternal water
where hope becomes not self, but Christ —
His glory shining in the Cross.
In Jesus’ gaze, the eyes of grace
transform each view from dread to gold;
what once seemed loss now blooms in grace,
and every pathway leads toward home.

So let the gloom do what it will,
the Light has already overcome;
in Him we rise, in Him we stand,
till every knee and shadow bows to Him.

The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
— Psalm 93:1 (KJV)

The Lord reigneth.
May this be
our incessant,
joyful,
victorious
anthem of praise!

We Are All the Least of These: A Confession of Empty Hands and the Wings of Undeserved Grace by Debbie Harris

Lord,
You take the least of these—
the small, the overlooked, the trembling ones—
and give us wings.

And if we are all honest,
we are all the least of these.
For this is how salvation is wrought:
knowing we are all indeed sinners,
the least of these.

Broken, empty-handed,
we come—
and still You call us
beloved.
Praise Your name!
Praise Your name forever.
