There is no better
symphony found than
those of the tiny
yet mighty,magnificent
melodies heard as
birds violin and
trumpet their Heavenly
hymns and songs of praise
worship, and adoration
to their Creator,Lord
and King of Kings.

May our lives be
our Lord and Savior’s
royal symphonies of
praise, worship,
and adoration!

The Splendid. Beauty-Filled Eternal View by Debbie Harris

30 Monday Jun 2014

For the passionate
Christ follower,
there is a thin,
gauzy veil of dimly
lit earth between
the ornament of earth
and Heavenly air.

If you listen precious
heir of Jesus Christ,
you can hear the voice
of many waters gently,
graciously, and lovingly
calling His royal heirs to
look beyond self to Christ
and focus on His presence
His power and all His
many grace given benefits.

For beyond the barren
land of self is a
glorious diadem filled
with the eternal and
victorious Heavenly view!

For with faith,
prayer, worship
death to self,
Word filled days,
Christ-filled solitude,
fellowship with believers,
the Prince of Peace loves
to lavishly grant His royal heirs
the splendid, beauty-filled
eternal, Kingdom view!

Isaac Watts Brilliant Hymn, When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

isaac wattsIsaac Watts was an English Christian hymnwriter, theologian and logician. A prolific and popular hymn writer, his work was part of evangelization. He was recognized as the “Father of English Hymnody”, credited with some 750 hymns. Wikipedia

Born: July 17, 1674, Southampton, United Kingdom

Died: November 25, 1748, Stoke Newington, United Kingdom

Buried: Bunhill Fields, London, United Kingdom

Education: King Edward VI School, Southampton

When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

by Issac Watts

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
Galatians 6:4 (KJV)

When I survey the wondrous Cross
Where the young Prince of Glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast
Save in the death of Christ, my God;
All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to his blood.
See from his head, his hands, his feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down;
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet?
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

His dying crimson like a robe
Spreads o’er his body on the Tree,
Then am I dead to all the globe,
And all the globe is dead to me.
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.

May this great hymn of our faith continue to be the song of all our hearts. Blessings to you all. 🙂

A Gleaming Fire Is Ignited When A Soul Is Captivated by Christ by Debbie Harris

A gleaming fire is ignited when Jesus Christ is
truly the passion of mind, heart and soul!
Darkness is turned into chandeliers of Heavenly light.
Divinity turns blindness into eyes that can truly see.
Love, forgiveness and the balm of Gilead is so profusely
poured into a soul so much so that our Savior,Jesus Christ
can be visibly seen. The old becomes new. We are changed from glory to glory!
Christ is our joyful victory. Weakness is turned into strength.
Souls become more important than earthly treasures and
our earthly gold becomes Jesus Christ, King of Kings!
A gleaming fire is ignited when Jesus Christ is
truly the passion of mind, heart, and soul.

Lord teach us to pray without ceasing!

Lord teach us to pray!

May our prayers be an action done graciously, lovingly, mercifully, privately,

for the glorious advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, our King!

May our prayers be a quiet time of worship, learning blessing, gleaning leaning, and

reflection as we learn to quietly and humbly sit at Jesus feet just as Mary did.

May our prayers be a royal visit where we enter into His palace as fledglings and paupers

in need of our Triune God’s tender mercy, grace, provision, and tender care and come away from

the throne room of grace, with Cross procured royal identities, titles, and righteously re-appareled

with purple and gold royal robes of salvation as we are proclaimed Sons and Daughters of the King of Kings and announced in the royal courts of Heaven as His Kings, His Queens and, His High Priests!

May our prayers be a time of worship, repentance, refreshment, and blessing,a place of preparation,

so that we can see with eyes of faith His majestic plan to turn our ashes into glorious grace!

May our prayers be a realized privilege,a royal conversation with our Holy, precious loving Triune God,

a place where we we can rest and not be weary for it is in the throne room of our God there is

constant re-newal and refreshment in the joy filled throne room of our God

May our prayers bring a replacement of our earthly weakness

with His unending, eternal, victorious strength and love.

May our prayers be a confident act of faith knowing that our prayers of love and grace for all can change God’s mind! For the prayers of the righteous availeth much! This we have been told. This we know in our souls! For we are the apple of His eye!

May our prayers of intercession on on behalf of any and all souls set the captives free, make the crooked places straight make the blind to see!

And for those who cannot pray may they know  that the most powerful prayers to our God is our tears,a Holy rain trustfully given to our Savior, God, and King who will wipe away all tears with His joyous songs of welcomings.

And to those who bring the joyful peals of laughter, this is a prayer of gratefulness and great love to our God for all the blessings He graciously and lavishly bestows!

The act of prayer is such a Holy blessing!

Lord teach us to pray without ceasing!

Lord teach us to pray!

Living Out Our Christ-Given Royal Identity by Debbie Harris

To lift up a heart,
to encourage a soul,
to bind up a wound,
to quickly forgive,
to unconditionally love,
to share vulnerabilities,
to laugh with those who laugh,
to weep with those who weep,
to give the gift of silence and embrace
when there are just no words,
to joyfully share earthly
and eternal bread just
as our Savior always does,
to show in word,deed,and action
that Jesus Christ always
deeply loves and cares!
This is living out our
Christ-given royal identity!

And if Christ is not the one and only
glorious source for our salvation and
sanctification what is the replacement
we are tragically choosing instead?

Running To The Source Of All True Love, Jesus Christ Our Lord by Debbie Harris

16 Monday Jun 2014

When we see the look of condescension,
When we hear the words of a critical spirit,
When we feel the look of enemy driven condemnation,
When we hear, feel and see the hiss of the enemy
in others may we run to the source of all true love,
the unconditional selfless love of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Are our thoughts, words and actions like gentle rain from
the throne room of Heaven or thunderous lightning bolts
so that the soul feels that they can never get up again?

May we as the blessed, gifted body of Jesus Christ seek to
exemplify gentle, genuine unconditional grace, truth, and charity
because this is how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, loves.

There Are Two Kingdoms Always At War by Debbie Harris

15 Sunday Jun 2014

An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

Proverbs 29:27 (KJV)

There are two kingdoms always at war.

One kingdom is beautifully divine
and eternally triumphant with Jesus Christ
as our only King of Kings,Lord of Lords,
Savior, Redeemer, warrior and friend.

The other despicable kingdom
is where the enemy of our souls
masquerades as the angel of light
who calls evil good and good evil,
who is abominably deceitful in all His
diabolical ways calling light darkness
and darkness light when he alone is the
sin filled author of the soul’s endless night.

Yet despite this war between light and darkness,
Christ is eternally triumphant, and so are we
for we are His beloved royal sons and daughters of the
King of Kings and he decorates us with royal, priestly
gold and purple costly righteous robes,a Heavenly insignia
of our Savior’s unconditional delight, favor and love!
We are His triumphant royal children of grace, strength, beauty
redeemed by the Cross of Christ and His most precious cleansing blood.

So children of grace, strength, beauty and triumph
do not let the enemy of our souls call our
eternal victory defeat! For this is what
the enemy does calls good evil and evil good.
This is the lie He has manufactured throughout the ages.

There are two kingdoms always at war!
