The poem captures the golden hour, a fleeting time when sunlight bathes the world in a magical glow. The first stanza sets the scene with light weaving a dreamlike landscape. The second focuses on nature, with trees and leaves transformed into radiant, dancing forms. The third elevates everyday objects like sidewalks and gates, revealing their beauty through light’s touch. The final stanza addresses the golden hour directly, lamenting its brevity while celebrating its ability to unify all things in a transcendent, golden world.

In the golden hour’s tender glow,
Where sunlight spills and shadows flow,
The world is draped in amber veils,
A canvas brushed with liquid beams.

Trees wear cloaks of shimmering light,
Their leaves a dance of warmth and flight.
The air hums soft, a honeyed haze,
Each moment gilded, each scene ablaze.

Sidewalks shimmer, cracks turn to art,
Each rust-flecked gate a pulsing flame.
Colors sing—green deepens, red ignites,
As day and night blur in soft delights.

Oh, fleeting hour, so brief, so rare,
You gild the earth with heavenly grace.
In your soft light, all things find peace,
A fleeting world, where shadows cease.

By Grace Redeemed, Let Us Not Spurn the Spirit’s Radiant Fruit of Kindness, Mercy, Love, and Grace, Which, as Little Christs, We Forge to Stud Our Crowns with Diamonds at the Bema Seat by Debbie Harris

The poem is a lyrical, theologically rich celebration of the Christian journey from salvation to eternal worship, emphasizing that salvation is by grace through faith alone, not works. It portrays believers, redeemed by Christ’s sacrificial blood, as indwelt by the Holy Spirit, which produces Christ-like virtues—kindness, mercy, love, and grace. These Spirit-led deeds transform believers into “little Christs,” reflecting His character through acts like serving the poor and offering prayers. The poem urges believers not to spurn this sacred call, as these humble deeds, though small in earthly eyes, become radiant “diamonds” forged by the Spirit. At the Bema Seat, Christ judges these works, and the Spirit’s fruit endures as golden crowns studded with diamonds, symbolizing eternal rewards. Ultimately, believers cast these crowns before Christ’s throne in worship, their brilliance reflecting His glory and their transformation into His likeness.

By grace alone, through faith we soar,
No human deed unlocks the door.
Christ’s blood, a scarlet river wide,
Redeems our souls, our guilt has died.
The Spirit kindles in our breast,
A holy flame, our hearts caressed.

From this divine and sacred glow,
The Spirit’s radiant fruits bestow.
Kindness dawns like morning’s blaze,
Mercy streams through golden rays.
Love ignites, a comet’s flight,
Grace unfolds in endless light.
These gifts, not ours, but Christ’s own sheen,
Proclaim His heart through lives serene.

As little Christs, we’re molded new,
Each act a mirror, His likeness true.
In tender hands, we lift the poor,
In weary hearts, we open doors.
No selfish aim, no pride’s disguise,
But Spirit’s breath where faith arises.
Like clay to potter, shaped we stand,
Reflecting Christ by His command.

O let us not spurn this sacred call,
To bear His fruit, to offer all!
Each gentle touch, each fervent prayer,
Each selfless gift ascends the air.
Through trials fierce, they gleam like stars,
Bathed in glory, the Spirit’s sparks.
These deeds, though humble in our sight,
Are diamonds sparked by heaven’s might.

At Bema’s seat, where Christ holds sway,
His sovereign gaze lights judgment’s day.
Each work is tried in fire divine,
Yet Spirit’s fruit will ever shine.
From embers rise our crowns of gold,
With diamonds bright, their tales retold.
Each facet gleams, a story grand,
Of Christ-like love by Spirit planned.

Before His throne, in awe we’ll kneel,
Where glories blaze and heavens reel.
Our crowns, aglow with radiant gems,
We’ll cast to Him as anthems hymn.
Their brilliance dances, pure and vast,
Reflecting Christ, whose love holds fast.
O yield to Spirit, let grace abide,
In His likeness, we’re glorified.

The sonnet, “The Triumphant Glory of Salvation’s Boundless Grace-Filled Gift,” celebrates the immense, unearned gift of salvation through Christ’s sacrifice. It portrays salvation as a divine, triumphant act that breaks sin’s chains and frees the soul from death. The poem emphasizes the incomprehensible depth of God’s love, manifested at the cross where mercy and wrath converge, redeeming the lost. It evokes awe and worship, with souls rising to praise Christ, the eternal King. The sonnet concludes with the enduring light of grace and Christ’s act of crowning repentant souls with righteousness, inspiring heartfelt adoration.

O gift of grace, salvation’s triumph grand,
From Heaven’s throne, by God’s own mercy sent.
It breaks the chains of sin with sovereign hand,
And frees the soul from death’s imprisonment.
No heart can fathom love so vast, so deep,
That Christ, through blood, would pay our wretched cost.
His cross, where wrath and mercy’s rivers meet,
Redeems the broken, saves the fully lost.

In awe, we rise, our spirits soar to sing,
Of Him, the Lamb, our everlasting King.
Through endless ages, grace’s light will shine,
A beacon of the Savior’s love divine.
O Lord of Glory, hailed by hearts sincere,
Repentant souls You crown with righteousness.

Summary of the Sonnet: “Sonnet on Easter’s Royal Dawn, Where Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Redeems Souls Who Repent, Believe, and Receive Him”

This Shakespearean sonnet exalts Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, as the sole way to salvation, whose death on the cross atoned for humanity’s sins and whose resurrection on Easter morning triumphs over death. With royal blood and risen power, Jesus breaks the tomb’s dark gates, offering redemption to all. The poem calls for repentance, belief, and receiving Him as personal Lord and Savior, through which contrite hearts enthrone His name and are reborn in faith. His jewel-like scars and empty tomb proclaim boundless mercy, guiding souls to salvation. The sonnet closes with Jesus’ name inspiring a glorious anthem, as repentant souls, reborn, ascend on radiant wings in eternal worship.

O Jesus, King, whose cross our sins did bear,
Thy royal blood redeemed a world astray.
On Easter morn, Thy glory’s dawn did sway,
Thy risen power the tomb’s dark gates did tear.
Repent, believe, receive Thee, Savior fair—
As Lord of life, let hearts Thy name enthrone.
Through faith, the soul, reborn, is Thine alone,
In boundless love, Thy mercy none forswear.

Thy scars, like jewels, gleam on regal brow,
Proclaiming hope to hearts that bend and call.
The empty grave exalts Thy scepter now:
Salvation flows where contrite spirits fall.
O Jesus, Lord, salvation’s anthem sings,
Repentant souls ascend on radiant wings.

The poem, titled “Exalted in Christ: A Poem of Our Positional Glory as Heirs of the King of Kings,” is a powerful affirmation of the royal identity and spiritual excellence of believers as sons and daughters in Jesus Christ. It celebrates their divine status as joint heirs with Christ, crowned by grace, and destined to reign as future kings and queens in the new heavens and new earth. Through vivid imagery and scriptural truths, the poem declares that believers are redeemed, forgiven, and seen by the Father as Jesus sees His Son—pure and beloved. They are seated in heavenly places, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and called to reflect Christ’s love and truth as bold ambassadors. As God’s masterpiece, they are radiant with purpose, victorious in Christ, and eternally devoted to His throne. The poem culminates in a triumphant final line, “Crowned in splendor, His throne we adore!” emphasizing worship and royal authority in Jesus, the Sovereign Lord.

Sons and daughters of the King of kings,
We rise in Christ, where glory springs.
Joint heirs with Jesus, crowned by grace,
Lord of lords, we seek His face.

Redeemed, restored, no sin, no shame,
We bear His righteousness, His name.
Future kings and queens, by Heaven’s decree,
New heavens, new earth, our destiny.

As Jesus sees the Son, so are we seen,
Pure, beloved, in His eyes serene.
Seated with Him in realms above,
Our lives reflect His boundless love.

Branches of the Vine, in Him we thrive,
His Spirit fuels our royal lives.
Forgiven fully, made whole, complete,
In Christ, we reign from mercy’s seat.

Ambassadors bold, with holy might,
His truth and love our guiding light.
More than conquerors, free, divine,
In Him, our victory’s grand design.

Masterpiece of God, with purpose clear,
Royal, radiant, to Him we’re dear.
In Jesus Christ, our Sovereign Lord,
Crowned in splendor, His throne we adore!

The sonnet, titled “A Triumphant Ode to the Steadfast Love and Ever-New Mercies of the Lord, as Proclaimed in Lamentations 3:22-23,” exuberantly celebrates the unwavering love and daily mercies of God, as inspired by Lamentations 3:22-23. Written in Shakespearean form (14 lines, iambic pentameter, ABAB CDCD EFEF GG rhyme scheme), it portrays God’s grace as a radiant, unending force that shines through each dawn, undimmed by storms or trials. The poem’s victorious tone is amplified by vivid imagery, such as mercies that “like diamonds shine” and a covenant that stands unshaken, culminating in a joyful proclamation of God’s faithfulness as the eternal King who crowns each day with light and love.

O steadfast love of God, that never wanes,
A boundless fount of mercy, ever new!
Each dawn proclaims His grace that gently reigns,
With radiant beams, His promises shine through.

No storm can quench His faithfulness divine,
No shadow dims the glory of His care;
His tender mercies like diamonds shine,
To guide the weary heart through every prayer.

Victorious, His covenant shall stand,
Unshaken by the trials of the night!
Exuberant, His love shall lift the hand,
And flood the soul with everlasting light.

Great is Thy faithfulness, O Lord, we sing,
Thy mercies crown our days, eternal King!

The sonnet, titled “Reverent Gratitude and Adoration for the Infinite Love and Sacred Sacrifice of Jesus,” expresses profound thankfulness for Jesus Christ’s boundless grace and redemptive sacrifice. It portrays His cross as a guiding light that frees humanity from sin, His love as an eternal river, and His sacrifice as the ransom for all souls. The poem emphasizes that no earthly wealth can compare to His grace, and His wounds secure a divine, eternal place for believers. It concludes by uniting grateful hearts in humble praise for His redeeming love and mercy.

O Christ, let hearts with gratitude arise,
For mercies poured on all who seek Thy name.
Thy cross, a beacon through the darkened skies,
Bears sin’s great weight and frees from guilt and shame.

Thy love, a river, flows through every age,
Thy sacrifice, the ransom for all souls.
In every path, Thy light doth fears assuage,
Restoring hope where brokenness consoles.

No earthly wealth could match Thy boundless grace,
No voice could sing the depths of all Thy care.
Thy wounds, Thy blood, secure a sacred place,
In realms divine, eternal, pure, and fair.

Thus grateful hearts in humble thanks unite,
For all Thou gav’st, Thy love’s redeeming light.

A Poetic Lament for a World Adrift and a Call for Spiritual Revival Through Salvation in Jesus Christ by Debbie Harris

The poem, titled A Poetic Lament for a World Adrift and a Call for Spiritual Revival Through Salvation in Jesus Christ, is a passionate cry against the spiritual decay of modern society. It critiques subjectivism, hyper-sensitivity, emotionalism, moral relativism, materialism, and immorality as forces fueling a spiritual war, influenced by Satanic deception. These elements lead humanity away from truth, chasing fleeting, hollow pursuits. The poem calls for a revival through repentance and embracing salvation in Jesus Christ, urging souls to awaken, confess their sins, and find redemption in His transformative love and truth. It emphasizes Christ as the sole path to righteousness, peace, and eternal life, culminating in a hopeful vision of spiritual renewal.

In shadows deep, where subjectivism sways,
Hyper-sensitive hearts forge fragile chains.
Emotions flood, truth’s firm shore decays,
Projection, deflection—guarding inner pains.

Moral relativism shifts like sand,
Satan’s whispers tempt the wav’ring hand.
Materialism blinds with fleeting glow,
Immorality reaps an empty show.

A spiritual war, unseen, yet stark,
Divides the soul, ignites the dark.
The world drifts far, in error’s sway,
Chasing hollow gods that fade away.

Oh, hear the call—revival’s flame ignite,
With repentance bold, we seek the light.
Embrace salvation, Jesus Christ confess,
His truth restores the path to righteousness.

Awake, O souls, from slumber’s fleeting dream,
Cling to the Cross, where grace and mercy stream.
In humble hearts, let sin’s old chains unwind,
Through Christ’s pure love, true revival find.

No longer bound by lies that once held sway,
The Savior’s call breaks through the night to day.
With contrite spirits, turn from sin’s cruel reign,
In Jesus’ name, find peace that shall remain.

Let every knee now bow, each heart proclaim,
The Lord of Life, eternal in His name.
Revive, O world, through Christ, the only way,
His love shall lead to everlasting day.

The poem, “Forgiven in Christ: A Call-and-Response Celebration of Victory for All to Join,” is a participatory piece designed for group settings. It features a leader reciting four stanzas about forgiveness in Christ—covering past, present, and future sins, and a victorious future—while the audience joins in with the refrain: “Forgiven, forgiven, in Christ I’m free! Victorious, victorious, His love lifts me!” Each stanza is introduced with a “Call to Gather and Proclaim,” and the poem concludes with a “Final Invitation for All Voices to Unite in Praise,” where everyone recites the refrain together, celebrating Christ’s mercy and victory.

Leader: In Christ, my past is washed, I’m set apart,
The chains of yesterday, they fall away,
His mercy mends my broken, weary heart,
A brand-new start with every breaking day.

Audience (refrain):
Forgiven, forgiven, in Christ I’m free!
Victorious, victorious, His love lifts me!

Leader: In Christ, my present sins are cast aside,
Each stumble met with grace I don’t deserve,
His love surrounds me like a rushing tide,
Through every trial, His peace will still preserve.

Audience (refrain):
Forgiven, forgiven, in Christ I’m free!
Victorious, victorious, His love lifts me!

Leader: In Christ, my future sins are swept from sight,
His cross has paid the price, the debt is clear,
Before I fall, His mercy shines so bright,
He lifts me up, I’ll never need to fear.

Audience (refrain):
Forgiven, forgiven, in Christ I’m free!
Victorious, victorious, His love lifts me!

Leader: In Christ, my future shines with endless light,
No fear can hold me, for His work is done,
My sins to come, He’s conquered in His might,
The battle’s won, the victory is won!

Audience (refrain):
Forgiven, forgiven, in Christ I’m free!
Victorious, victorious, His love lifts me!

Leader (final call):
Now let us sing, our voices raised as one,
Proclaim His love, His mercy, and His might!

All together (final refrain):
Forgiven, forgiven, in Christ I’m free!
Victorious, victorious, His love lifts me!
