The poem celebrates the triumphant redemption of believers through Christ, the Sovereign who defeated death. It portrays His powerful hand breaking the chains of mortality, emptying the tomb, and dispelling darkness. This victory grants us a royal status as heirs, inspiring endless praise for His light and might.

Royally redeemed, we stand in awe,
By the hand that broke the ancient law,
A Sovereign bold, with power vast,
Who shattered death, its chains uncast.

The tomb lies empty, shadows flee,
His victory crowns eternity,
With royal might, He claimed the day,
And swept our guilt and fear away.

Redeemed, we rise, a regal throng,
To sing His praise in endless song,
The hand that pierced the dark with light,
Has made us heirs of boundless might.

The poem paints a vivid picture of dawn breaking, beginning with a dark, indigo sky that gradually transforms as Christ’s hand ignites a golden glow. Colors like amber, rose, lavender, and saffron weave together, symbolizing His grace awakening the world. Towering spires catch the light as shadows fade, and a fiery sun rises, revealing a sunrise—Christ’s daily masterpiece that confesses His love and renews the earth with each new day.

In twilight’s grip, the indigo reigns,
A boundless veil where silence wanes.
A flicker ignites, gold molten and shy,
Christ’s hand spills threads across the sky.

Amber ribbons twist with rose,
A dance of hues where night erodes.
Lavender whispers, peach unfurls,
His grace is great, a waking world.

Shadows shrink from towering spires,
Their edges gleam with borrowed fires.
Crimson swells, then saffron glows,
Azure bows to coral wings.

A fiery heart ascends the brim,
The dawn awakens, bold and prim—
A sunrise blooms, Christ’s love confessed,
Our Savior’s masterpiece, each day expressed.

A Biblical Poetic Reflection On Light Found In The Scriptures by Debbie Harris

A spark ignites the void’s deep night,
“Let there be!”—and dawn unfurls,
The primal light of worlds unborn,
God’s voice in radiant swirls.

He cloaks Himself in beams divine,
A garment spun of endless day,
The Father of lights, unshadowed, pure,
No darkness dares to stay.

A Star descends, the Word made flesh,
The true light piercing gloom,
“I am the light!” He boldly cries,
Life’s flame in death’s cold tomb.

A lamp aglow, His word unfolds,
A path through shadows cast,
Wisdom’s gleam for stumbling feet,
A glow that holds us fast.

From darkened lands, a dawn breaks forth,
Salvation’s rays arise,
Righteousness in brilliance burns,
A hope that never dies.

We, too, are kindled—chosen sparks,
To shine where night holds sway,
Children of light, a city bright,
Reflecting Heaven’s ray.

Against the dark, the light contends,
A war of truth and grace,
Evil flees where knowledge glows,
Christ’s glory in our face.

And yet to come, the final gleam,
No sun, no moon, no flame,
The Lamb’s own light, the Lord’s own fire,
Eternal in His name.

The poem is a lyrical reflection on Psalm 86:10, celebrating God’s unparalleled greatness, marvelous deeds, and sovereign love. It paints vivid images of creation—sky, stars, oceans, mountains, and more—bowing to God’s power and glory. Through nature’s wonders and intimate care, it portrays a God who heals, sustains, and reigns alone, unmatched by any rival. The poem weaves themes of divine majesty and tender love, culminating in the affirmation that all wonders find their source and resting place in God alone.

Beneath the vast and endless sky,
Your splendor lifts my soul on high.
With wonders shaped by hands unseen,
You cloak the world in gold and green.
The dawn ignites with fiery hue,
Each breath of life a gift from You.
No force can match Your boundless might,
A love that turns the dark to light.

No other name commands the stars,
Nor heals the heart’s deep-hidden scars.
The oceans roar, the tempests cease,
Your love pours out in waves of peace.
The sparrow soars, the lilies bloom,
Your tender care fills every room.
Through every age, Your works resound,
A love so deep, forever found.

Alone You reign, O Lord divine,
Your mighty acts, a holy sign.
The heavens stretch to tell Your story,
Each twinkling light reflects Your glory.
The winds whisper through the trees,
A love that humbles every breeze.
No idol forged by mortal hand,
Can know Your heart, or understand.

The mountains bow, the rivers sing,
To You, the one eternal King.
The thunder rolls, the lightning gleams,
Your love ignites the wildest dreams.
From desert sands to icy streams,
Your voice awakens love supreme.
No rival dares to claim Your throne,
Your sovereign will stands firm alone.

In silence deep, or chaos loud,
Your love shines through the darkest cloud.
The broken soul, the weary sigh,
Find refuge in Your watchful eye.
With every step, Your love is near,
A wonder chasing doubt and fear.
A love that holds the world in place,
In You alone, all wonders abide.

Stones Speaking: The Unsilenced Choir of Creation Sings Victorious Songs About Jesus Christ Our Lord by Debbie Harris

The poem, titled “Stones Speaking: The Unsilenced Choir of Creation Sings Victorious Songs About Jesus Christ Our Lord”, reimagines the biblical moment from Luke 19:40 (KJV): “And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” It portrays a world where human praise falls silent, and the gemstones of the earth—ruby, sapphire, emerald, amethyst, diamond, topaz, onyx, garnet, and quartz—rise in a triumphant chorus for Jesus Christ. Each stone sings with a unique voice: ruby trumpets His victorious blood, sapphire offers deep hallelujahs, emerald exults in His eternal dawn, and so on. These rocks are not quiet because they are forged by the Creator’s hand to proclaim His triumph—songs of war won, hosannas, and battle hymns—celebrating Jesus as Lord. The poem blends vivid imagery, concise language, and a contemplative yet victorious tone, emphasizing creation’s unyielding praise for Christ’s redemptive glory.

What if we hush?
The ruby blazes—a trumpet blast,
not quiet, for it shouts
a victor’s anthem,
red as Jesus’ blood that won.
Sapphire resounds,
a deep blue hallelujah,
sung to Christ from caverns unbowed.

Emeralds flare,
green with the thrill of rising,
their chorus a bold alleluia
to Jesus, Lord of dawn unbroken.
Amethyst rings out triumph,
violet and fierce,
diamond strikes the air—
a fanfare for Christ’s unshattered light.

Topaz ignites,
gold as the crown Jesus reclaimed,
its song a battle hymn of joy.
Onyx rolls deep,
a thunder of glory
to our Lord from earth’s own vault.
Garnet pulses—red, relentless—
a march of overcome for Jesus,
quartz gleams clear,
a peal of hosannas
no shadow can mute.

They are not quiet,
these unshaken singers.
Forged in fire,
split for splendor,
they bear the triumph of Jesus Christ—
anthems of a war He won,
praises that storm the silence,
a roar of victory
etched in their bones,
sung when we cannot
to crown the air with His light.

This poem exalts the divine splendor and eternal worth of the Bible, Jesus’ names, and all elements tied to His redemptive story. It begins by revering the Bible as a radiant, royal scroll—its words a scepter of heavenly power, adorned with jewel-like verses that echo grace and glory through time. The names of Jesus—King of kings, Lord of lords, Prince of Peace, and more—resound like trumpets, each title a shining testament to His unending reign. The poem then honors the sacred symbols of His life—the cross, tomb, blood, bread, and wine—as treasures of a kingdom where darkness yields to day. It concludes with a call to worship in awe, lifting praise to the timeless gifts of Scripture and Jesus’ legacy, culminating in a vision of an unfading crown raised to Jesus, to whom all hearts bow in adoration.

O hallowed Word, enthroned in light,
The Bible gleams, a royal scroll,
Its pages breathe with heaven’s might,
A scepter for the seeking soul.
Each verse a jewel, each line a crown,
Through ages vast, its truth resounds,
A golden thread from throne to town,
Where grace and glory know no bounds.

The names of Jesus—King of kings,
Lord of lords, the Prince of Peace—
Like trumpets bold, their echo rings,
A reign that never shall decrease.
Emmanuel, the Word made flesh,
Redeemer, Savior, Morning Star,
Each title shines, divinely fresh,
A regal chorus near and far.

All things of Him, the cross, the tomb,
The blood that washes sin away,
Are treasures of the sacred womb,
Where night surrenders to the day.
The bread, the wine, the whispered prayer,
The Spirit’s flame, the Father’s call,
In every sign, His beauty there,
A kingdom vast, embracing all.

Bow low, ye hearts, in awe adore,
Lift high the praise that never fades,
For Scripture’s voice and Jesus’ lore
Are royal gifts that time evades.
With trembling hands and bended knee,
We worship at this holy flame,
A crown unfading, pure, and high,
To Jesus raised, our hearts comply.

Thorns To Triumph by Debbie Harris

This poem reflects on the obedience Jesus learned through suffering, as described in Hebrews 5:8, tracing His journey from agony to triumph. It begins in Gethsemane’s shadowed gloom, where the divine Son, wrapped in human flesh, endures thorns and blood-red sweat. Suffering weaves a harsh lesson through the cross’s brutality—whips, nails, and a burdened sigh—yet this obedience breaks open in resurrection. The tomb yields to dawn’s golden spill, revealing a King risen with star-like scars, His hands bearing the warmth of sacrifice. Nature whispers His victory—sparrows sing, winds murmur—while the poem crescendos to a triumphant close: Jesus floods the darkness with day, shattering death through His costly obedience.

In Gethsemane’s bruised dusk,
the olive trees leaned close,
their gnarled fingers tracing
a shadow’s weight across His brow.
Son though He was—
eternity’s pulse in fragile skin—
He knelt where thorns whispered,
where sweat bloomed red as poppies.

Obedience was no golden thread,
no harp strung taut with triumph,
but a jagged seam stitched
through the sinew of suffering—
a whip’s crack, a nail’s bite,
the slow creak of a cross
bearing heaven’s own sigh.

Yet see how the lesson broke open:
a stone rolled loose like a sigh,
dawn spilling gold across the tomb’s lip,
lilies nodding at the impossible—
a King schooled in sorrow,
rising with scars like stars,
His hands still warm with the cost.

The sparrow knows this tune,
the wind hums it through reeds,
how suffering bent the royal knee
and crowned it with a wilder grace.
Through the dark classroom of pain,
He learned what sons of dust forget:
to obey is to shatter death,
For Jesus floods the dark with day.

The hymn weaves themes of divine sovereignty, redemption, and eternal triumph, enriched with vivid imagery and a soaring refrain, fit for a royal celebration.

Verse 1
Oh, magnify the King of kings,
And Lord of lords, His glory rings,
The sovereign One, enthroned in might,
Has shattered darkness with His light.

Refrain
Hallelujah, raise the strain,
Victorious love shall ever reign,
Lift high the song, let heaven resound,
The royal Savior’s grace abounds!

Verse 2
From heavens high, His throne secure,
His word is steadfast, strong, and pure,
The foe defeated, chains unbound,
In Him eternal hope is found.

Refrain
Hallelujah, raise the strain,
Victorious love shall ever reign,
Lift high the song, let heaven resound,
The royal Savior’s grace abounds!

Verse 3
All nations bow, all tongues confess,
His mercy flows, His name we bless,
The Lamb who died, now crowned as King,
Through endless ages we shall sing.

Refrain
Hallelujah, raise the strain,
Victorious love shall ever reign,
Lift high the song, let heaven resound,
The royal Savior’s grace abounds!

Verse 4
His scepter shines with righteous flame,
The stars and angels shout His name,
No power withstands His sovereign hand,
His reign restores the broken land.

Refrain
Hallelujah, raise the strain,
Victorious love shall ever reign,
Lift high the song, let heaven resound,
The royal Savior’s grace abounds!

Verse 5
The gates of pearl, the streets of gold,
His glory dawns, His tale retold,
The Alpha, Omega, First and Last,
His victory heals the shadowed past.

Refrain
Hallelujah, raise the strain,
Victorious love shall ever reign,
Lift high the song, let heaven resound,
The royal Savior’s grace abounds!

Verse 6
O saints arise, with joy proclaim,
The King of kings, the Lord’s great name,
Through storm and trial, He shall lead,
Our conquering Lord, our strength indeed.

Refrain
Hallelujah, raise the strain,
Victorious love shall ever reign,
Lift high the song, let heaven resound,
The royal Savior’s grace abounds!
