A Note from the Poet

Dear Believer,

When evil seems to flourish all around us—when the wicked rise like unchecked grass and the workers of iniquity appear unstoppable—take heart. The Lord sees it clearly and declares with divine finality: “Nope.” Their moment is brief, their root already severed beneath His sovereign hand.

This is the triumphant heart of Psalm 92: the temporary bloom of wickedness contrasted with the everlasting exaltation of our God. Read these lines when discouragement presses in. Speak them aloud. Let them remind you that justice is not delayed forever—evil will be cut down, scattered like chaff, and overthrown, while the Lord reigns on high, forevermore.

You are not alone in the fight. The same God who cuts down the proud upholds the righteous. Stand firm, believer—your King has already spoken.

With courage and hope,

The Poet

(A Classical Rhyme Poem – For Believers)

Psalm 92:5-9 (KJV)

O LORD, how great are thy works!and thy thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. When the wicked spring as the grass,and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore. For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish;all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

O Lord, how great Thy works in glory blaze!

Thy thoughts profound outshine the sun’s own rays.

The brutish heart no sacred wonder knows,

Nor fool discerns where Thy deep wisdom flows.

When evil seems to flourish all around,

And wicked men spring forth as grass unbound,

When workers of iniquity take wing

In fleeting bloom and boast they cannot fall—

Take heart, believer! Hear the sovereign call:

God sees it all and thunders, “Nope!”—their root

Is cut beneath His hand, their doom assured.

But Thou, O Lord, art high forevermore,

Exalted far above all time’s short shore.

Lo, Thine enemies, O God, shall fall and fade;

Thine enemies shall perish, unarrayed.

All who work iniquity take flight,

Scattered like chaff before the whirlwind’s might.

Thy throne stands firm, Thy justice reigns alone—

While evil’s pride is swiftly overthrown.

Stand fast, believer: though the darkness swell,

The Lord has spoken—evil shall not prevail.

The Demonic Art of Euphemistic Veils: How Honeyed Words Cloak Sin, Wickedness, and Immorality in the Guise of Virtue by Debbie Harris

A Note from the Poet

Dear Reader,

In an age when words are bent and twisted like reeds in the wind, I send forth this poem as a cry from the watchtower. We live in times when the serpent’s ancient tactic has been refined to perfection: no longer does evil storm the gates with horns and fire, but enters softly, cloaked in pleasant phrases, smiling euphemisms, and gentle rebrandings. What the Scriptures once called sin is now paraded as “choice,” “pride,” “love,” or “self-care.” Hell has learned the language of Heaven, and many souls are lulled to sleep by its lullabies.

This verse is no mere literary exercise. It is a battle cry against the demonic alchemy of language—the subtle art that turns murder into medicine, adultery into adventure, and rebellion against the Creator into “authenticity.” I have written in classical rhyme because truth deserves dignity, not the cheap prose of our disordered day. The form itself is a protest: while the world dissolves into formless babble, let rhyme and meter stand as pillars of order.

If these lines sting, it is not out of hatred for the sinner, but out of love for the soul still capable of repentance. Call evil by its rightful name. Refuse the velvet lie. Restore sharp, honest speech to your tongue, for “the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Euphemisms comfort the conscience only until Judgment Day, when every soft word will be stripped away and we shall stand naked before the Holy One.

May this poem awaken slumbering consciences, fortify the faithful, and expose the darkness masquerading as light.

With solemn urgency and brotherly concern,

The Poet

Scriptural Foundation (KJV)

Isaiah 5:20

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

2 Corinthians 11:13-14

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Ephesians 5:6

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Proverbs 6:16-19

These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Isaiah 59:13-14

In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

Matthew 15:8-9

This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

In shadowed halls where serpents softly speak,

A velvet tongue twists truth to tame the bleak.

Euphemisms, like incense sweet and cloy,

Cloak the fiend’s foul breath in bright alloy.

What once was murder dons the mask of “choice,”

And babes unborn are silenced, without voice.

Adultery becomes a harmless “fling,”

While vows lie shattered—souls on broken wing.

Fornication? Merely “exploring love,”

A youthful dance that fits like hand in glove.

Sodomy is “pride,” a rainbow hue,

Defying Nature’s law and God’s own view.

The glutton calls his feast “self-care” refined,

The drunkard sips his “social” cup of wine.

Laziness is “mental health” today,

While sloth devours the hours, wastes away.

Covetousness now wears the name “equity,”

The thief demands his “justice” bold and free.

While honest labor bows beneath the weight

Of guilt and “privilege” — inverted hate.

The liar’s craft is now “narrative spin,”

Or “speaking truth to power” — deadly sin.

False prophets preach “inclusion” from the stage,

While crushing consciences in righteous rage.

Divorce is “self-love,” a brave new start,

Though children’s hearts are torn and ripped apart.

The covenant once sacred, sealed by God,

Is traded for the fleeting, fleshly nod.

Rebellion dresses in “empowerment” bright,

Defying Heaven in the name of “right.”

Man plays the god, re-making moral law,

While demons clap and hell prepares its maw.

“Love is love” the serpent’s slogan cries,

While redefining lust in rainbow guise.

No longer bound by God’s created frame,

It crowns as virtue every burning shame.

“All paths lead up” — the broadest lie of all,

That makes the narrow Way a useless call.

Christ’s blood is mingled with false gods and lies,

While Heaven weeps and hell in triumph sighs.

O demonic art! With words both mild and fair,

You gild the gates of Hell and lead them there.

You blunt the blade of conscience, dull the sting,

Till vice feels virtue, and the damned take wing.

No longer “sin” the scarlet letter brands,

But “lifestyle” welcomed with applauding hands.

The liar spins his “alternative fact” with grace,

The thief takes “reparations” in his place.

Yet in the end, when Judgment’s trumpet sounds,

These pretty phrases turn to chains and bounds.

The euphemist shall stand in naked light,

His sugar-coated lies exposed to sight.

Awake, O mortal! Cast the veil aside,

Call evil evil—let no tongue divide

The truth from falsehood with a silken lie.

For Heaven’s gate demands an honest cry.

Repent the gloss, the soft and soothing phrase,

That paves the road to everlasting blaze.

In plain, hard speech let virtue find her sword—

Euphemism, demon, be forever floored!

No Neutral Ground: The Fierce Contention for Souls Between the Father of Lights and the Father of Lies by Debbie Harris

A Note from the Poet

Dear Reader,

In the quiet hush between heartbeats, where the unseen war rages most fiercely, I have written these lines. This world is no neutral ground—it is a battlefield of souls. On one side stands the Eternal Good, our loving Creator, whose light breaks through every shadow and whose mercy never fails. On the other prowls the ancient enemy, Satan, filled with hatred for every soul made in God’s image. He cannot create, so he destroys; he cannot love, so he deceives.

Yet the victory has already been won upon the Cross. These verses are not meant merely to rhyme or entertain, but to awaken. Choose this day whom you will serve. Turn your eyes toward the Light that the darkness cannot overcome. You are precious in the sight of the Father—fearfully and wonderfully made, a beloved child of the King.

May these words stir your spirit to stand firm, to pray without ceasing, and to walk in the freedom Christ has purchased with His blood. You are not alone in this fight; the Captain of Heaven’s armies fights for you.

With solemn hope and warm affection,

The Poet

Ephesians 6:12 KJV

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:12 AMP

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

Joshua 24:15 KJV

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Joshua 24:15 AMP

If it is unacceptable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the [Euphrates] River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

1 Peter 5:8 KJV

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

1 Peter 5:8 AMP

Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.

In realms unseen where shadows clash with light,

A war eternal wages through the night—

For every soul that treads this mortal sod,

The hosts of Heaven battle for its flight.

There is the Good, whose name is God alone,

Whose mercy flows like rivers from His throne;

He weaves creation’s tapestry with grace,

And calls each wandering heart to be His own.

Yet evil stirs, a serpent in the dust,

Whose ancient hatred poisons all that’s just;

The Adversary, Satan, prince of lies,

Who envies Eden’s dawn and heaven’s trust.

He hates the souls that bear the Maker’s breath,

And plots their ruin, courting them with death—

With gilded chains of pleasure, pride, and gold,

He lures the weak to fires that never rest.

O soul adrift upon this stormy sea,

Lift up thine eyes where Christ has set thee free!

The cross has shattered hell’s deceitful claim,

And God’s own blood has won the victory.

Choose ye this day whom ye will serve in strife:

The Light of Life, or darkness’ bitter knife.

For in this battle, none may neutral stand—

Eternal joy or woe awaits thy life.

God is the Good, forever pure and bright;

Satan the foe, who flees before the Light.

Awake, arise, and claim the victor’s crown—

The spiritual war shall end in endless dawn!

The Victorious Call – A Soul Beholds Its Sin, Weeps on Hallowed Ground, and Rises Clothed in Triumph by Debbie Harris

A Note to the Reader from the Poet

Dear Reader,

If you have ever stood where this soul stands—eyes flooded with the weight of your own sin, heart aching with the truth that you are vile—know this: you are not alone, and you are not without hope. These verses were written for the moment your tears fall on holy ground. That weeping is not the end; it is the doorway.

The robe is real. The blood still speaks. The Lamb still calls. Come just as you are. Let the hallowed ground of honest confession become the place where heaven clothes you in victory.

With joy in the triumph of grace,

The Poet

Job 40:4

NIV

I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.

ESV

Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.

AMP

Behold, I am of little importance and contemptible; what can I reply to You? I lay my hand on my mouth.

KJV

Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

They stand before the throne, once clad in tattered rags,

A soul that suddenly beholds its every crimson stain;

Great rivers of repentance flow, hot tears that carve deep tracks,

And every memory, laid bare, falls prostrate in the rain.

This is the hallowed ground where broken sinners meet their God—

Where weeping eyes see sin as black as midnight’s deepest pit,

Where trembling hands can grasp no rope, no ladder, no façade—

Yet here the gift of all gifts waits: pure mercy, richly fit.

Like Job they rise from ashen dust in thunderous, tear-stained praise,

Like Isaiah cleansed beneath the altar’s searing, holy blaze,

Like Paul, once chief of sinners, now ablaze with ransomed days—

Grace thundered, swept their guilt into forgetful, endless praise!

No sin now holds this champion from the fight they’ve won at last,

They cast their darkness down as conquered, trampled, helpless foe;

The night that tried to quench the Eternal Light has fled, outclassed,

Now bows its head where crimson rivers of redemption flow!

No frantic hands, no futile will were needed in the fray—

The blood of heaven stormed the gulf and triumphed in its flood!

The ledger’s debt forever cancelled, blotted, swept away,

The iron chains lie shattered, gleaming shards in crimson mud!

“Come now!” the voice rings out in trumpet might and trumpet song,

“Not for the righteous— but the lost made bold by tears alone!”

They lift their eyes, aflame with holy, weeping, wondrous dawn,

The Cross their banner, blazing bright, and their new story known!

Just as they are, with sin’s last shadow slain in weeping light,

With every chain dissolved in radiant, unstoppable grace,

They march triumphant through the open plain of endless height—

The Lamb receives the vilest soul and crowns them in His place!

Behold the robe! A robe of blazing righteousness descends,

Woven in heaven’s loom with threads of everlasting gold,

White as untrodden snow on peaks where morning never ends,

Embroidered deep with scars of love and mercy manifold.

It wraps the weeping soul in glory words cannot contain—

No longer rags of shame, but splendor flashing like the sun;

The tears that fell like jewels now sparkle in its radiant train,

And hallowed ground becomes the threshold where the vict’ry’s won!

The ragged cloak lies trampled, buried in the dust of grace;

A robe of blazing righteousness is worn in triumph bright!

Though dawn once found them broken, weeping, bound in sin’s embrace,

By evening they are stars in heaven’s vast, eternal light!

Now is the hour! The gates of glory swing on hinges grand!

The one once vile now reigns, redeemed, and lifts a victor’s song!

Hell’s darkest claim has lost its final, feeble, futile sting—

Triumphant, justified, the victory forever rings!

What the Lord Truly Requires: Loving Mercy That Embraces Truth, Rejects Deception, and Calls All to Eternal Redemption by Debbie Harris

Micah 6:8 (KJV)

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Micah 6:8 (AMP)

He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overconfident trust in your own power]?

Ephesians 4:15 (KJV)

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

Ephesians 4:15 (AMP)

But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example], who is the Head—Christ.

2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9 (AMP)

The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Ezekiel 33:11 (KJV)

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

John 8:32 (KJV)

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 14:6 (KJV)

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV)

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Beloved reader, true mercy is no shallow sentiment or convenient silence that shields the soul from holy confrontation. It is the profound fusion of unflinching truth and unwavering love, the very heartbeat of the Divine requirement laid bare in Micah 6:8. To love mercy is not to soften justice or dilute conviction, but to wield truth as a surgeon’s blade—cutting away deception so that real healing and restoration may emerge. It echoes the apostle’s call to speak the truth in love, maturing us into Christ Himself, while reflecting the Father’s longsuffering heart that desires none to perish but all to embrace repentance and life.

In this sacred tension, mercy refuses the lie of false tolerance that leaves sinners slumbering toward destruction; instead, it shines the unyielding light of Christ—the Way, the Truth, and the Life—inviting every heart to freedom, transformation, and eternal communion with God. It yearns for God’s highest good for all: not mere happiness, but salvation, holiness, and humble fellowship with the Creator. May these verses and the lines that follow stir within you a deeper hunger to embody this costly, redemptive mercy: courageous enough to confront, compassionate enough to restore, and Christ-centered enough to point always toward the cross where justice and mercy kissed.

What doth the Lord require, O mortal man?

To do justly, love mercy’s truthful hand,

And walk humbly where His footsteps ran—

For mercy speaks the truth, yet takes its stand.

Not soft deceit that lets the sinner sleep,

But light that wounds to heal, and calls to rise;

True mercy longs for all God’s best to keep—

Salvation’s gift, where grace and justice rise.

He wills not one should perish in the night,

But turns to life through truth that sets us free;

Compassion clothes the soul in heaven’s light,

And bids the lost: “Come home and live in Me.”

Thus mercy, truth, and humble faith entwine—

The path of life, the will of the Divine

Be Like the Bereans – Testing Every Word Against Eternal Truth by Debbie Harris

Dear Reader,

In a world loud with opinions, quick answers, and shallow soundbites, the ancient Bereans stand as a quiet, shining rebuke. They did not swallow teaching whole simply because it came from an apostle’s lips. Instead, they opened the Scriptures daily with eager, honest hearts and tested every claim against the unchanging truth of God’s Word.

This poem is my humble invitation for you to join their noble company. May these verses stir in you a fresh hunger—not for mere knowledge, but for verified, living truth. Faith is never meant to be blind; it is meant to be examined, rooted, and radiant.

Wherever you are on your journey, I pray you will dare to be Berean. Open the Book. Test the words. Seek until you find. The treasure is worth every diligent hour.

With hope and prayer,

The Poet

Acts 17:11

KJV (King James Version):

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

NIV (New International Version):

Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

AMP (Amplified Bible):

Now these people were more noble and open-minded than those in Thessalonica, so they received the message [of salvation through faith in the Christ] with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

ESV (English Standard Version):

Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.

In ancient Berea, where wisdom held sway,

A noble folk gathered at break of each day.

Not swift to believe what the preacher proclaimed,

But eager they listened, their hearts unashamed.

With scrolls unrolled under the sun’s golden light,

They tested each word against truth’s holy might.

No blind faith for them, no mere echo or guess—

They searched the old writings with diligent press.

More noble than those in Thessalonica’s throng,

Who heard without proving, and wandered along.

O seeker today, let your spirit arise—

Be noble like them: test all claims with clear eyes!

Will you open the Scriptures with zeal every morn,

Examine each teaching till truth is reborn?

Dare to be Berean—make faith a pursuit,

Or drift with the crowd in untested dispute?

Progressivism: The Serpent’s New Gospel – Satan Repackaged in Eden’s Shadow by Debbie Harris

Dear Reader,

I write not from hatred, but from a heart heavy with alarm. In an age that flatters itself as enlightened, we have traded the ancient light of Christ for a glittering counterfeit. What parades as compassion and justice is, I believe, the oldest lie in new robes: the serpent’s whisper that power, not sin, defines us; that mercy is weakness; and that the “oppressor” must be crushed rather than redeemed.

This poem is a cry of warning. Progressivism, with its Critical Theory lens and oppressor/oppressed gospel, does not merely err—it inverts the Christian order. Where Scripture calls every soul fallen and redeemable, this ideology declares entire classes of people inherently guilty by birth. Where the Cross offers grace and persuasion, it demands rage and revolution. Where Christ says “love your enemies,” it teaches “by any means necessary.”

The bullet that silenced Charlie Kirk was not an anomaly but a logical fruit. When you paint your neighbor as evil incarnate, the moral path becomes elimination, not argument. I do not claim perfection for any political tribe—sin runs through us all—but I do claim this: the spirit now animating much of the modern Left is not progressive but regressive, a return to the ancient rebellion in Eden.

If these lines sting, let them. Let them drive you back to the Word, to prayer, and to the Lion of Judah who still roars that the gates of hell shall not prevail. Repentance remains possible. Truth still liberates. But only if we name the darkness for what it is.

With urgent concern and abiding hope in Christ,

The Poet

Genesis 3:1,4-5

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? … And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Isaiah 5:20

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

2 Corinthians 11:14

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Matthew 7:15

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 11:28

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 16:18

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 5:44 (for the contrast with loving enemies)

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

In Eden’s hush the serpent spoke once more,

Not apple offered, but a poisoned creed:

“Oppressor, oppressed”—his ancient, iron law,

Dividing souls by blood, by skin, by seed.

No common fall in Adam’s guilty race,

But birthmarks branded: White and male accursed.

The Cross grows dim beneath this new disgrace—

For mercy weakens what pure power thirsts.

Thus Lucifer, in rainbow robes arrayed,

Preaches equity as heaven’s own decree.

“By any means,” his legions cry, unswayed,

“Burn cities down, punch Nazis, set them free!”

No erring brother here to win with grace,

But “literal Hitler,” fascist, mortal foe.

The bullet sings where sermons held their place—

For evil dies, and only blood can sow.

He twists the Book, perverts its every line:

“Love not thy foe, but crush the Philistine.”

The family fractures, gender bends divine,

The child laid bare on altars serpentine.

Envy wears justice like a stolen crown,

While borders tumble, Babel’s sin denied.

Truth becomes violence when it pulls them down,

And churches kneel where pride parades abide.

This is the Beast in scholar’s garb disguised,

False prophet rising with the dragon’s eyes.

It forges guilt from air, then hunts the wise,

Devouring remnant under smiling lies.

No cleansing blood, no weary soul finds rest,

But revolution’s endless, hungry night.

Where Christ says “Come,” the serpent hisses, “Rage—

And seize the throne that God would dare deny.”

Awake, O Church! The wolf has breached the fold,

In Critical Theory’s soft and treacherous fleece.

It slays the Kirk, it topples cross and gold,

And names the slaughter “progress”—sweet release.

Yet Heaven’s Lion thunders from His throne:

The gates of hell shall never overcome.

Repent this lie, this Satan dressed as dawn,

Or watch the West descend to Christless gloom.

For progress is but Eden’s fall reborn,

Repackaged, glittering, by millions worn.

The selfsame hiss: “Ye shall be gods in power,”

Devouring age on age, hour after hour.

Gall for Ink and Venom for Cologne: A Classical Rhyme Exposing the Demonic Wickedness of a Woke Press That Inverts God’s Truth by Debbie Harris

The Woke Press

In an age when the ancient warning of Scripture burns with renewed urgency, the modern press has become the chief architect of moral inversion. Once tasked with shining light into darkness, today’s dominant media outlets—driven by ideology over truth—systematically call evil good and good evil. They glorify the destruction of life as “reproductive rights,” cheer chaos and lawlessness as “social justice,” redefine biological reality as oppression, and brand dissent, merit, and tradition as grave sins. This is no mere bias; it is the fulfillment of prophecy.

Verse (Isaiah 5:20)

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

In marble halls where truth once held her throne,

A serpent scribes now twist the sacred line;

With gall for ink and venom for cologne,

They crown the night and call the daylight crime.

What Heaven forged as good—the hearth’s firm chain,

The merit earned by sweat and tempered steel—

They brand as curse, as patriarchal stain,

While lauding sloth that turns the soul to meal.

The unborn child, a spark of deathless flame,

They carve from womb and christen “choice” sublime;

The rioter’s torch, the looter’s lawless claim,

They hail as justice, pure and serpentine.

Man is not man, nor woman woman wrought—

They geld the flesh that Nature’s chisel shaped;

“Liberation!” rings for every lusting thought,

While gagging speech that dares defy their tape.

Old borders bleed, ancestral virtues scorned,

The savage crowned, the builder shamed and shorn;

They cheer the mob, the guiltless newly adorned

With sins their sires never dreamed or borne.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil—

Thus spake Isaiah in the KJV’s pure fire;

These editorial choirs in priestly guise

Flip Heaven’s scales and nurse the devil’s choir.

Yet Time’s sharp blade shall strip their painted veil,

And History’s ledger, pitiless, decree:

The press that knelt to fashion’s fickle gale

Served not the light—but Hell’s own liturgy.

Thus falls the reign of inverted sacred lore;

The remnant stands; the reckoning draws near,

When truth, unshackled, storms the liar’s door

And wakes the world from this demonic snare.

Romans 1:28 (KJV)

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Romans 1:24-26 (KJV)

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

In shadowed halls where truth is bent and broken,

Men trade the Eternal for the fleeting spark,

Worship the creature, words of lies are spoken,

And bow to dust instead of Heaven’s arc.

The Maker’s glory, blazing, pure, and bright,

Exchanged for idols carved by human hands—

So God withdraws His grip, releases light,

And gives them up to what their lust demands.

To uncleanness, hearts inflamed with fire,

Bodies dishonored in the secret place,

Where passion twists what purity would require,

And shame parades as freedom, face to face.

For this, vile affections take their throne,

Women forsake the use that nature gave,

Men burn with madness, reaping what was sown,

In chambers dark where souls become a grave.

A reprobate mind, no longer held in check,

Approves the evil, calls the darkness light—

No fear of judgment, no remorse to check

The headlong rush into the endless night.

O hear the warning, trembling as you stand:

Reject the Giver, chase the gift instead,

And He will loose the reins upon your hand,

Till what you crave becomes your daily bread.

Turn back, return, before the giving o’er—

The God who judges also stands to save.

His mercy waits, an open, boundless door,

For those who call upon the name that saves.

Let this be known: The path of self is steep,

And leads to ruin wrapped in false delight.

Choose Christ, choose truth, choose Him whose word is deep—

Before the mind grows dark and loses sight.

Dear Precious Reader,

Have you ever been just overwhelmed by the goodness of our God and His many benefits? This is why I wrote this poem.In this tender hymn of ceaseless bounty, you are invited to behold God as the Eternal Giver—the One whose hand never closes, whose grace flows like oil that keeps pouring until every vessel overflows. With rich biblical imagery, the poem draws all of us to see the Lord as the daily Manna surrounding the camp, the Smitten Rock pouring living water, the soft rain on thirsty valleys, and the broad river that never sleeps. Every sunrise brings fresh mercy, every hour a new feast, and every grain of time trails a myriad of unseen kindnesses behind it. I marvel at the impossibility of counting God’s blessings—more than the dust of Jacob, more than I could ever number—yet each day He loads all of us with benefits and crowns our head with loving-kindness. The hymn rises to a joyful call: “Awake, my soul! Awake, dull tongue, and sing!” May it stir us to lett every instrument of praise join in, for the Everlasting Spring never fails. It ends with our own longing to remain in ceaseless gratitude until we stand ransomed and pure in His presence, where giving itself is swallowed up in fullness. May these verses stir your heart today as they have stirred mine—to taste and see the inexhaustible generosity of our King, and to respond with open-handed worship and quiet wonder.

Grace and peace to you,

(After 1 Timothy 6:17 and Spurgeon’s Morning Thought)

1 Timothy 6:17 (KJV)
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

O Thou who giv’st us richly all to enjoy,
Whose hand ne’er closeth, nor for moment stays,
Eternal Giver, Source without alloy,
Whose sun of grace through endless morning rays!
As oil that floweth where the vessels stand
Till every brim o’erfloweth with Thy store,
So dost Thou pour from Thy unstinting hand
Fresh mercy, new as dawn, and more, and more.
Thou art the manna round our camp that falls,
The smitten Rock whose living waters leap;
The rain that droppeth soft on thirsty vales,
The river broad that knoweth not to sleep.
Thy branches bend with fruit for mortal need,
Each day a feast, each hour a banquet spread;
No pilgrim turns unbless’d from Thy rich mead,
No hunger’d soul ariseth unfed.
The sands of time fall slow, yet ever trail
A myriad mercies in their golden wake;
The wings of hours are silver’d with Thy hail,
And every star a herald of Thy sake.
Who can recount the dust of Jacob’s gain,
Or number forth the fourth part of Thy grace?
Daily Thou loadest us, and yet again
Dost crown our heads with loving-kindness’ lace.
Awake, my soul! Awake, dull tongue, and sing!
Let psaltery and harp their voices raise;
For He who is the everlasting Spring
Can never fail, through all eternal days.
O King immortal, let my praise endure
As ceaseless as the bounty Thou dost send;
Till in Thy presence, ransomed and made pure,
I taste the fullness where all giving ends.
