Whispers To The Infinite King by Debbie Harris

With every prayer a fragile hope takes flight,
A whispered wish ascends to realms unseen,
Where miracles, like stars that pierce the night,
May bloom where mortal dreams have never been.

The heart, in quiet, bends to sacred will,
Each word a thread to weave a chance divine,
A spark to stir the heavens, calm or still,
That grace might fall where faith and fate align.

Yet who can say what wonders lie in store?
The humble plea may shift the world’s design,
A ripple vast from one small voice outpoured,
To mend the broken with a love benign.

So pray, and let the possible unfold,
For miracles are mysteries retold.

His Banner Over Us Is Love by Debbie Harris

His banner of love rises o’er our days,
Of golden threads unfurled in regal gleam,
With crimson heart crowned high where sapphires blaze,
A sovereign grace reigns o’er the skies supreme.
The winds kneel soft before His jeweled throne,
Their murmurs chant through sapphire heavens fair;
The dawn extends its crown in golden tone,
A realm of glory glows beyond compare.
Who quails beneath this pure and royal sight?
What gloom could dim its rich, resplendent hue?
From redeemed hearts descends a river bright,
Its crystal peace reflects the arches blue.
In love’s full cross, His blood has bought our place,
We dwell secure in majesty and grace.

If God Is For Us, Who Can Be Against Us by Debbie Harris

If God unfurls His banner o’er our days,
What foe could stand beneath His gentle call?
No titan’s roar, no dark that grips and sways,
Can breach the peace His tender hands let fall.
The winds may whisper through the twilight’s hush,
Yet in their sigh, His guiding star shines clear;
Foes fade like mist beneath the morning’s blush,
Dissolved within His stillness drawing near.
Who fears when cradled in this tranquil beam?
What shade could veil a light so soft and true?
From tranquil earth, a silver stream runs free,
Its gentle flow a grace that falls like dew.
Though chaos murmurs, soon its echoes cease,
With God our calm, we rest in boundless peace.

With Sovereign Love of Infinite Renown, He Hails the Lost with Victor’s Crown by Debbie Harris

Upon the hills where twilight’s shadows creep,
A shepherd roamed, his flock of ninety-nine
Secure in fold, yet one had slipped the line—
A wayward lamb lost deep in crags so steep.
Through brambles sharp and winds that wailed with might,
He trod the wild, his staff a guiding star,
Past echoing vales and streams that stretched afar,
His voice a beacon piercing endless night.

The heavens watched, their silver eyes aglow,
As o’er the cliffs he bore the trembling stray,
Its wool like snow against his mantle’s sway—
A kingly burden crowned with love to show.
Rejoice, he cried, for what was lost is found,
The one restored makes heaven’s joy abound.

The Centurion’s Confession by Debbie Harris

Beneath the sky, a shroud of thunder’s reign,
The centurion stood, his spear in hand,
A witness to the cross where crimson stained
The earth, a king enthroned on rugged land.
The sun recoiled, its golden face grew dim,
While tempests tore the veil of heaven’s dome,
The rocks split wide, a chorus deep and grim,
As nature mourned the Son cast far from home.

His armor gleamed, though dulled by dust and dread,
A Roman forged in fire, yet now undone—
For in that gaze, where mortal blood was shed,
He saw the light of God’s eternal Son.
“Truly,” he spoke, his voice a trembling chord,
“This was the King, the Christ, the living Lord.”

I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Psalm 34:1 (NIV)

Upon the peaks where eagles fiercely soar,
I’ll bless the Lord with anthems bold and free,
His praise shall gleam on spires of porphyry,
A regal flame to burn forevermore.
Through marble vales where torrents shout His lore,
To emerald heights where ancient cedars plea,
My voice shall rise, a crown of victory,
A golden song no shadow can outpour.

When sin roars fierce and corruption’s tide ascends,
My hymn shall ring, a palace pure and whole,
Adorned with Christ, the might within that mends.
In redeemed souls where His blest Word is stored,
His glory reigns, a throne that never bends—
Eternal, splendid, harbored and restored.

The Widow’s Mite by Debbie Harris

A widow bent, with trembling hands, drew near,
Two mites, her all, within the treasury fall,
No gold to boast, no wealth to domineer,
Yet Heaven’s gaze beheld her humble call.
The rich cast in their heaps with hollow pride,
Their clinking coins a fleeting, brassy din,
But hers, a whisper, pierced the clamor wide,
A silent hymn of trust from deep within.
Each copper gleamed with faith’s unyielding fire,
Her widow’s heart poured out in love’s own choir,
Outshining pomp with love’s small, pure desire,
A gift to God, though she stood all alone.
The Lord uplifts her slight and humble store,
Her mites outshine their pride forevermore.

Crowned by Grace, Their Diamond Fires Ascend by Debbie Harris

From humble souls who follow Christ’s dear call,
A radiant change, like chandeliers, takes flight,
Their hearts recast in gleaming halls enthrall,
Aglow with gems that shimmer in His sight.
Love’s diamond sparkles first, a tender flame,
Then mercy gleams, a prism soft and kind,
Truth cuts through dark, unyielding in its claim,
While justice shines, with equity aligned.
Suspended high, they scatter Heaven’s grace,
Each crystal pure, reflecting sacred hue,
A testament to faith in every place,
Illuming paths where Christ’s own light breaks through.
So followers, transformed, His glory share,
Bright chandeliers of virtue, burning fair.

A Nation Is Exalted Where Sin Fades And Christ’s Word Rules The Heart by Debbie Harris

A nation rises on the wings of right,
Where justice flows like streams through verdant lands,
Its people bound by honor’s sacred might,
Their hearts aligned with virtue’s high commands.
Exalted high, the righteous banner waves,
A beacon bright through time’s unyielding tide,
For in its soil no root of evil craves,
But truth and grace in harmony reside.
Yet sin, a stain, brings shame to any shore,
A creeping blight that humbles proudest kin,
Its whispers turn abundance to deplore,
And cast reproach where glory might have been.
So stands the choice: to rise or fall apart,
It thrives when Christ reigns first in every heart.

Mockers Dance on Shadows Thin, Favor Drapes the Crucified Within by Debbie Harris

Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor!

Proverbs 14:9 (KJV)

The fools in mirth make mock of sin’s deep stain,
With laughter blind, they dance on crumbling ground,
Their jests a shroud, their wisdom turned to vain,
While shadows cloak the ruin they have found.
Yet righteous hearts, with Christ upon the tree,
Find favor sweet where mercy’s arms extend,
Crucified, they rise from death’s decree,
In Him their souls and brokenness transcend.
Sin’s weight, a fool’s delight, they cast aside,
But grace, to those who kneel, becomes their crown,
Through blood and cross, the faithful will abide,
Where favor reigns, no scorn can pull them down.
So let the mockers jeer, their end is near,
While righteous stand in love’s eternal sphere.
