I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Luke 15:7 (KJV)

When wayward soul, once lost in shadowed mire,
Returns with trembling steps to seek the light,
The angels pause their hymns, their wings aspire,
To weave a song of joy through endless night.
No gold nor gems could spark such pure delight,
No earthly triumph match this sacred gain,
For Heaven bends to lift the contrite’s plight,
And washes clean the scarlet stain of pain.

The stars themselves in chorus softly sing,
A sinner’s tear ignites the skies above,
Each note a thread in mercy’s golden ring,
Each chord a testament to boundless love.
So vast the glee when one lost heart is found,
Eternal halls with jubilation sound.

Purity Unbowed: The Pearl Admist The Swine by Debbie Harris

When holiness, that sacred flame, is scorned,
And purity, a pearl, is cast to swine,
The world with jester’s tongue is overworn,
Its laughter drowns the whisper of divine.
The meek are mocked, their stillness deemed a flaw,
While brazen noise ascends the gaudy throne,
Yet in their quiet hearts abides the law,
A truth unshaken, carved in timeless stone.
Though cynics sneer and shadows veil the light,
The pure endure, their radiance concealed,
For what is mocked by day burns clear at night,
In silent grace, its power is revealed.
So let the scoffers wane, their jests decay,
True holiness shall rise at break of day.

The dawn awaits with whispers soft and sweet,
A promise gleams through shadows of the night,
When saints shall rise, their Savior soon to meet,
In clouds of glory, bathed in holy light.
Our blessed hope, a trumpet’s clarion call,
Shall pierce the silence, time itself unwind,
The faithful, caught beyond this earthly thrall,
Leave mortal cares and fleeting woes behind.
No eye has seen, no heart can fully know,
The joy prepared, the rapture’s grand embrace,
When Christ returns, His bride in grace to show,
A timeless union, face to radiant face.
So lift your gaze, O church, and stand secure,
Our hope is certain, steadfast, and so pure.

A King arrayed in wealth beyond all gold,
His riches gleam where mortal crowns grow dim,
A robe of righteousness, resplendent, bold,
Brocaded fine, with gems along its brim.

His throne adorned with opulence divine,
Each thread He weaves, a splendor none can sew,
This mantle, studded bright with jewels that shine,
He drapes on souls redeemed from sin’s dark woe.

Oh, Sovereign Lord, Thy scepter gilds the skies,
Thy bounty flows to clad the broken race,
In kingly grace, Thou bidst the lost arise,
To wear Thy garb of mercy, love, and grace.

Thy reign, a vault of treasures ever free,
Enrobes us all in holy majesty.

When silent tongues refuse to name the sin,
The righteous falter, cloaked in timid peace,
The church, a shepherd, locks its flock within,
While wolves of vice grow bold and fears increase.
No clarion call to pierce the shadowed air,
No fire to burn the chaff from sacred ground,
The meek inherit naught but cold despair,
When courage lies entombed, no trumpets sound.
Yet once were prophets bold with blazing word,
Who shook the thrones of kings with heaven’s might,
Their echoes fade where cowardice is stirred,
And truth retreats beneath a shroud of night.
O rise, ye souls, let not the dark prevail,
For silence bends the just to wickedness’ gale.

When good is cursed, and evil hailed as just,
A twisted age exalts the liar’s reign,
The born-again stand firm amid the dust,
Redeemed by blood, they scorn the world’s disdain.
Their courage blazes through the darkened tide,
Compassion flows where hate has carved its throne,
In Christ reborn, they cast all fear aside,
His truth their shield, His cross their cornerstone.
The Savior comes, His light shall pierce the veil,
No shadowed lie withstands His holy gaze,
When evil’s mask as good begins to fail,
The redeemed arise in victory’s blaze.
Eternal King, His word shall never bend,
Through those He saves, all falsehood finds its end!

The meek arise, their quiet power unfurls,
No clash of steel, yet empires bend and break,
With steadfast hearts, they seize the reeling world,
A regal dawn no tyrant dares to take.
Their courage glows, a flame through shadows cast,
Compassion reigns where wrath once held its sway,
In stillness forged, their victory stands vast,
The earth reshaped beneath their gentle day.
No crown of gold, but grace adorns their brow,
Each whispered prayer a thunderous decree,
Through humble hands, the mighty mountains bow,
Christ’s echo rings in meek eternity.
Triumphant heirs, majestic in their might,
The meek inherit earth in boundless light!

Satan’s Wrath, Salvation’s Might by Debbie Harris

The horrors surge where Satan’s will is sown,
Unrelenting demonic torture reigns,
A shadowed void where innocence is thrown,
And tortured cries resound through ceaseless pains.

We cannot hide our eyes to this grim fate,
Where rituals stain the earth with crimson flood,
Each wail implores our hearts to not abate,
To see the scars etched deep in flesh and blood.

Yet truth ignites a path through darkest hell,
Salvation, the pinnacle of gifts, brings near,
Rescue and deliverance shall prevail,
To free the bound from chains of dread and fear.

Though evil’s grip with unrelenting might,
We stand, unblind, to usher in the light.

Sonnet Of Righteous Triumph by Debbie Harris

Where cruelty once with shadowed fist did rise,
To crush the righteous in its ruthless sway,
Grace falls as light, a balm from boundless skies,
And mercy dawns to sweep the dark away.

Love looks beyond the charm of hollow fame,
For pretty popular shells may mask a void,
Truth cuts through veils of pomp and fleeting name,
The gospel rings where lies are oft destroyed.

Salvation, the pinnacle of gifts, descends,
Not to the proud who gleam in fleeting glare,
But those who stand, though bruised, with righteous ends,
Their souls upheld by heaven’s tender care.

Though beauty reigns and crowds may shout their praise,
God crowns the just with everlasting days.

I.

With bated breath I open the sacred lore,

The holy page beneath my fingers glows,

God’s word resounds, an echo evermore,

Through me a victor’s river gently flows.

O book of might, thou well of boundless grace,

Thy light unveils the soul’s eternal place.

II.

Like deer I leap atop the mountain’s height,

Renewed by grace from heaven’s throne outpoured,

Thy word, a sword, divides my doubt in flight,

And grants the peace He claims as my reward.

No storm can shake, no shadow dim thy gleam,

Thou art my strength, my dawn, my waking dream.

III.

No chains can hold the heart that hears thy voice,

My spirit soars where earthly fears subside,

Through storm and grace, in faith I stand, rejoice,

They wait on thee, on eagle’s wings abide.

O sacred tome, thy truth doth set me free,

A flame to kindle all eternity.

IV.

This book I clasp ignites a golden gleam,

A light to lead me till the day’s last beam,

From mortal dust to realms of starry skies,

Thy wisdom lifts me where the angels rise.

All praise to thee, O font of heaven’s lore,

My guide, my joy, my soul’s forevermore
