The poem, titled “Possible Impossibilities”, celebrates the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ, through whom seemingly impossible situations become possible. It portrays a world where divine love and grace break through doubt, despair, and limitations, turning barren hearts fertile, mending the broken, and opening new paths where none existed. With vivid imagery, it depicts Christ’s ability to conquer obstacles like mountains and oceans, rewriting human stories with hope and miracles. The poem emphasizes that, with Jesus as Lord, no boundary is too great, and His boundless love illuminates even the darkest moments, making the impossible achievable.

The world is ablaze with possible impossibilities,
Where dreams defy the chains of earthly realities.
With Jesus Christ as Lord, the heavens unfold,
Turning whispers of hope into miracles bold.

In shadows of doubt, His light breaks through,
Making pathways where none ever grew.
The barren heart blooms, the broken are whole,
His love rewrites the stories of each seeking soul.

Mountains may stand, and oceans may roar,
Yet His voice commands, opening every door.
What seems beyond reach, His hands can bestow,
In Christ, the impossible begins to grow.

So lift up your eyes to the Author of grace,
Whose power transforms time, heart, and space.
With Jesus as Lord, no limit holds sway,
For His boundless love turns night into day.

The poem, titled “So Much Hope”, celebrates the Christian concepts of the rapture and the eternal kingdom as sources of profound hope and inspiration. It begins with the anticipation of the rapture, depicted as a glorious moment where believers are called by a trumpet to meet Christ in the clouds. It then envisions the eternal kingdom, a place of golden streets and crystal rivers, free from sorrow and filled with God’s eternal presence. The final stanza emphasizes the boundless hope that uplifts the soul, mending hearts and fulfilling dreams in Christ’s everlasting love. The poem’s tone is uplifting, weaving biblical imagery from 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and Revelation 21:4, 21 to evoke a sense of divine promise and eternal joy.

We are given the hope of the rapture,
A trumpet’s call, piercing the skies,
Caught up in clouds where glory gathers,
To meet our Savior with radiant eyes.

And the dream of the eternal kingdom,
Where golden streets and crystal rivers flow,
No tears remain, no shadows linger,
In God’s embrace, forever we’ll know.

In the Twinkling Light, We Rise to Eternal Glory by Debbie Harris

The poem celebrates the Christian “blessed hope” found in Jesus Christ, not in worldly things like wealth, power, or fame. It vividly portrays the rapture, where believers are swiftly taken up “in a twinkling burst of light” to meet Christ, rising through clouds to dwell with Him in eternal glory. The poem contrasts fleeting earthly pursuits with the unbroken, divine hope of eternity, closing with a fervent prayer: “Come, Lord Jesus, let Your glory shine!”

Beneath no gold, nor fleeting crown of fame,
Nor power’s grasp, nor wealth’s alluring claim,
Our blessed hope shines brighter than the sun—
In Jesus Christ, our Savior, the Holy One.

In rapture’s flash, a twinkling burst of light,
We’ll rise through clouds to meet Him in the night,
Transformed, redeemed, with hearts forever free,
To dwell with Him in radiant eternity.

Eternal hope, unbroken, pure, divine,
Come, Lord Jesus, let Your glory shine!

Accepted in the Beloved, never cast away,
A glorious hope in Jesus, bright as dawning day.
Ceaseless flows the promise, steadfast, ever true,
Our risen Lord is coming, to make all things new.

His love, a boundless ocean, no rejection knows,
In Christ, our hearts find refuge, where living water flows.
With eyes fixed on the heavens, we wait in joyful song,
Our Savior’s soon returning, to right all earthly wrong.

Oh, ceaseless hope, unyielding, in Jesus’ name we stand,
Forever held, forever loved, within His mighty hand.

The sonnet celebrates the enduring hope and divine beauty found in Jesus Christ. It portrays Christ as a radiant, merciful light who dispels darkness, offers redemption, and provides unwavering love. Through His grace, the broken find worth, and no storm or sin can diminish His splendor. The poem concludes by affirming Christ as the eternal guide and source of hope for believers.

In realms where mortal hearts do falter, frail,
A light divine doth pierce the shadowed veil,
Our Savior, Christ, with love that cannot wane,
Bestows on us a hope to rise again.

His mercy, like the dawn’s first golden ray,
Illumes the soul and chases night away.
Through cross and grace, His beauty doth abide,
A boundless spring where weary hearts reside.

No storm can dim the splendor of His face,
No sin too vast to flee His warm embrace.
In Him, the broken find their sacred worth,
And heaven’s song resounds o’er all the earth.

O Jesus, Lord, Thy beauty is our stay,
Our hope eternal, guiding all our way.

A Poetic Cry Against the Galatians’ Betrayal of the Gospel of Grace, Echoing Paul’s Fervent Denunciation of Perverted Teachings, His Rejection of Human Praise, and His Steadfast Service to Christ Alone by Debbie Harris

Galatians 1:6-10 (KJV)

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Summary

In Galatians 1:6-10 (KJV), Paul is shocked that the Galatians are quickly turning from the true gospel of Christ’s grace to a false gospel, which he insists is not a gospel at all. He accuses some of troubling the believers by perverting Christ’s message. Paul solemnly declares that anyone, including himself or an angel, who preaches a different gospel should be accursed. He reiterates this warning for emphasis. Finally, Paul clarifies that he seeks God’s approval, not man’s, as pleasing people would disqualify him as Christ’s servant. The passage stresses the necessity of clinging to the true gospel and rejecting distortions.

O Galatians, swayed by whispers false and fleet,
You turn from grace, the truth that set you free.
A different gospel lures with cunning deceit,
No gospel true, but chains of heresy.
Astonished, Paul rebukes with fervent plea,
“Let none pervert the Christ we first proclaimed!”
Though angels preach, or men with zeal agree,
If false their word, let curse be their acclaim.
No human praise does Paul now seek to gain,
Nor bends to please the fickle heart of man.
For God alone his servant’s path sustains,
To bear the cross and spread salvation’s plan.
O hold the faith, unmoved by error’s call,
For Christ’s true gospel stands above it all.

The sonnet, titled “The Paraclete, Divine Advocate and Helper, Christ’s Spirit Dwelling Within,” celebrates the Holy Spirit, referred to as the Paraclete, as a divine guide and comforter. It portrays the Spirit as an advocate who resides within the soul, healing and guiding believers with Christ’s love and light. The poem emphasizes the intimate presence of Christ through the Spirit, offering direction, comfort, and faith amidst life’s challenges. The Paraclete is depicted as a fiery, transformative force that ignites devotion and reflects Christ’s eternal mercy, enabling believers to carry His name and presence within them.

O Paraclete, sweet Advocate of grace,
Thou Helper sent to dwell within our soul,
Thy fire descends to make the broken whole,
A spark of Christ, His love in every place.
No distant Lord, but near, in heart’s embrace,
Thy whisper guides where mortal steps may stray,
A gentle voice to lead us through the fray,
The Son’s own light reflected in our face.

Thou art the Comforter, the Spirit’s flame,
Igniting faith where doubt and fear abide,
In Thee, the Son’s eternal presence flows.
With fervent zeal, we bear His holy name,
Christ lives within, our ever-faithful guide,
Through Paraclete, His boundless mercy grows.

Sonnet: Redeemed Royals, Heirs of God’s Eternal Glory and Joint Heirs with Christ by Debbie Harris

The sonnet, titled “Redeemed Royals, Heirs of God’s Eternal Glory and Joint Heirs with Christ,” is inspired by 2 Corinthians 6:16 (KJV): “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” This verse underscores believers as God’s dwelling place, set apart from idolatry, and bound to Him in a covenant relationship. The sonnet expands on this, portraying redeemed Christians as God’s children and joint heirs with Christ, imbued with royal dignity and eternal glory.

2 Corinthians 6:16 (KJV)
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

O temple pure, where God’s own Spirit dwells,
In hearts redeemed, His royal banner flies.
No idol’s shadow taints these sacred wells,
For Christ has claimed His own with kingly ties.

As children born of heaven’s boundless grace,
We share the throne of Him who reigns above.
Joint heirs with Christ, we seek His holy face,
Arrayed in robes of righteousness and love.

A crown of life awaits the faithful soul,
Its jewels gleam with glory’s endless store.
On golden streets, beneath His scepter’s role,
We walk as kings and queens where saints adore.

Enthrone us, King, where heavens bow in awe,
To wield Your glory’s scepter evermore.

Soaring to Majesty on Scripture’s Steadfast Wings by Debbie Harris

In the resplendent “Soaring to Majesty on Scripture’s Steadfast Wings,” a Shakespearean sonnet born from the clarion call, “We rise by standing for Biblical truth,” the soul’s ascent is painted with celestial fire. Upon the unyielding rock of divine truth, believers stand resolute, their spirits ignited by holy words that no tempest can extinguish. The world’s fleeting shadows and scornful lures fade before the radiant cross, a beacon through life’s darkest veils. With each trial, faith’s embrace—woven from mercy’s eternal threads—lifts the heart higher, until, in the climactic flourish, “By Scripture’s might, we soar to majesty.” This sonnet is a tapestry of triumph, its verses soaring like eagles on the steadfast wings of God’s Word, carrying the reader to a throne of divine splendor where truth reigns eternal. The title, a poetic anthem, evokes wings of celestial strength, propelling the soul toward a majestic communion with the divine.

Upon the rock of sacred truth we stand,
Where holy words, divine, our hearts inspire.
No storm can shake the soul by faith’s command,
Nor dim the light of God’s eternal fire.

The world may scorn the path of righteous ways,
Its fleeting lures may tempt the weary mind,
Yet in the Word, our strength renews always,
For truth’s embrace is mercy’s tie that binds.

Though trials come, as shadows veil the day,
We rise by holding fast to what is pure.
The cross, our guide, through darkness lights the way,
Its promise steadfast, certain, and secure.

So let us rise, with courage, bold and free,
By Scripture’s might, we soar to majesty.
