The poem, “Eulabeia’s Sacred Summons: A Call to Awe Before the Eternal”, urges a return to reverent awe (eulabeia) for God in a society marked by casual irreverence, progressive ideals, and blasphemy. It contrasts the world’s fleeting pride and mockery of the sacred with God’s enduring majesty and love. The poem calls the soul to pause, tremble, and worship, embracing humility and wonder before the Eternal King. It emphasizes that no trend or scorn can diminish God’s glory, encouraging a renewed devotion rooted in reverence and grace.

In a world of fleeting jest and pride,
Where sacred truths are cast aside,
A whisper stirs, both fierce and free—
Eulabeia, awe, eternity.

The casual tongue, with careless sway,
Mocks the holy, drifts astray.
Blasphemous tides, progressive streams,
Drown the soul in fleeting dreams.

Yet God remains, enthroned, supreme,
His glory burns, a living gleam.
Not wrath alone, but love divine,
Calls the heart to realign.

Stand still, O soul, and tremble sweet,
Where heaven’s majesty and mercy meet.
In silence, bow; in wonder, sing—
Let reverence crown the Eternal King.

No fleeting trend can dim His face,
No scorn can shake His boundless grace.
With eulabeia, rise, adore—
And find your home in Him once more.

The Gospel Shared, the Needy Fed: Choosing Christ’s Way of Love by Debbie Harris

The poem, “The Gospel Shared, the Needy Fed: Choosing Christ’s Way of Love”, explores the unquantifiable impact of Christ followers who transform lives through true Christianity. It highlights two key acts: sharing the gospel, which offers hope and redirects souls toward eternity, and meeting earthly needs, such as providing food or comfort, which reflects Christ’s love in action. Written in four stanzas with a consistent AABB rhyme scheme, the poem emphasizes that no record can count the lives changed by these deeds, as they mend broken paths and shape futures through grace. It concludes with a biblical call, urging the reader and writer to choose “love’s bold way,” embodying Christ’s heart in word and deed. The tone is reverent, rooted in Scripture, and focused on love and action as transformative forces.

How many share, with fervent voice,
The gospel’s hope, the soul’s rejoice?
Their words of Christ light darkened ways,
And turn lost hearts to endless days.

How many give, with tender care,
To ease the burdens others bear?
A meal, a cloak, a wound’s embrace,
They show God’s love through acts of grace.

No count can hold the lives they mend,
Where broken paths find hope’s new bend.
Through truth proclaimed and needs relieved,
They shape the futures grace conceived.

In Christ’s own love, their deeds abide,
His heart their guide, their hands His bride.
How many? God alone can say—
May you and I choose love’s bold way.

The quatrain expresses gratitude for the gift of life, portraying each breath as a divine blessing from God. It emphasizes the purpose of using this gift to honor and glorify His holy name. The chosen title, “Every Breath a Divine Gift to Glorify His Name,” encapsulates the poem’s theme of devotion and reverence.

Every breath, a gift divine,
From God’s own hand, a sacred sign.
To honor Him, our lives we frame,
And glorify His holy name.

A Poetic Contemplation on the Divergent Paths of the Unredeemed Soul and the Redeemed Spirit Beneath Heaven’s Gaze by Debbie Harris

A Poetic Contemplation on the Divergent Paths of the Unredeemed Soul and the Redeemed Spirit Beneath Heaven’s Gaze, which contrasts the perspectives of the unredeemed and redeemed in a third-person Shakespearean sonnet:

The sonnet explores the stark contrast between the unredeemed and redeemed through a third-person lens. The unredeemed figure, trapped in spiritual darkness, views life as futile, marked by doubt, pain, and earthly struggles, with imagery of shadows and chains. In contrast, the redeemed figure, transformed by divine grace, radiates hope and faith, finding peace and purpose in eternal love, depicted with light and upliftment. Despite existing under the same sky, their paths diverge: one remains lost in despair, while the other ascends toward divine light, highlighting the transformative power of redemption.

He walks in shadows, unredeemed, forlorn,
His eyes see naught but dust and fleeting gain.
The heavens’ call, to him, a distant scorn,
His heart bears chains of doubt and gnawing pain.
Yet she, redeemed, with radiant soul ascends,
Her gaze alight with grace that never fades.
Through trials, faith her steadfast hope defends,
Her spirit soars where love’s eternal shades.
The first, in strife, finds only earth’s cold jest,
His steps unmoored, no anchor for his soul.
The other kneels, by mercy’s hand caressed,
Her life a hymn, made whole by heaven’s goal.
Two paths diverge beneath the selfsame sky:
One lost in dark, one bound for light on high.

The poem, titled The Eternal Embrace of Divine Approval Is Always Enough, is a concise four-line piece that reflects the sentiment “God’s approval is always enough.” It conveys a deep spiritual truth: God’s love and affirmation surpass all earthly validation. The poem uses gentle imagery, likening divine approval to “morning dew” and “heaven to earth,” emphasizing its quiet yet profound power. It highlights the sufficiency of God’s nod, offering peace and worth beyond human praise.

In whispers soft as morning dew,
God’s love descends, steadfast and true.
No earthly praise can match its worth,
His nod alone brings heaven to earth.

The Rose Of The Redeemed by Debbie Harris

The poem “The Rose of the Redeemed” portrays the redeemed soul as a perpetually blooming, fragrant rose, transformed through worship, adoration, and obedience to the Triune God. Worship unfolds the soul’s petals, offering a sweet aroma to God; adoration, like Mary’s perfume, spills love that draws others to Christ; and obedience roots the soul in God’s truth, ensuring eternal flourishing. The Triune God—Father, Son, and Spirit—cultivates this radiant rose, which blooms forever in His light and grace.

When royally redeemed, we bow and sing,
To Father, Son, and Spirit, our hearts cling.
A rose we become, in God’s sacred art,
Perpetually blooming, with fragrant heart.

In worship, our petals unfold to the sky,
Each note, each prayer, a soft, soaring cry.
A sweet aroma, to heaven it flies,
Pleasing the Triune, where glory abides.

Adoring our Maker, we gaze and adore,
Like Mary’s perfume on Bethany’s floor.
Our love spills as fragrance, a scent pure and free,
Drawing the weary to Christ’s mercy sea.

Obedience roots us in truth’s holy ground,
Drinking from streams where His grace does abound.
Pruned by His Spirit, yet never to fade,
We bloom through all seasons, by His hand arrayed.

O Triune God, in Your light we abide,
Father’s delight, with the Son at Your side,
Spirit’s soft whisper, our hearts You compose—
Forever we flourish, Your radiant rose.

The second poem, titled “Patriots United in Christ, Guardians of God’s Sacred Land”, is a fervent, patriotic ode that celebrates America as a nation unified under God’s grace, with Jesus Christ as its guiding light. It portrays the United States as a divine gift, blessed by God’s love and sustained by faith. The poem emphasizes placing Jesus first, with vivid imagery of America’s landscapes—seas, fields, and mountains—symbolizing freedom’s enduring dreams. It honors the military as courageous guardians, empowered by Christ, who protect the nation’s liberty through sacrifice. The tone is one of gratitude, hope, and unwavering commitment to God and country, culminating in a vision of America as a beacon of Christ’s truth, passionately “set ablaze” by faith and patriotism.

By God’s own grace, our nation stands as one,
A sacred gift beneath His holy gaze.
With Jesus Christ, our Savior, first we run,
To lift His name in everlasting praise.

From sea to shore, His light our path has led,
Through fields of gold to peaks that touch the sky.
One nation, bound by faith, with hope we tread,
Under God’s love, where freedom’s dreams won’t die.

Our military brave, by Christ’s own strength they stand,
Their sacrifice a shield for liberty.
With courage bold, they guard this blessed land,
A testament to grace eternally.

We thank You, Lord, for mercies freely giv’n,
For unity through Jesus’ holy call.
Proud hearts proclaim His truth from earth to heav’n,
One nation under God, He reigns o’er all.

With patriot’s zeal, we vow to keep Him first,
Our Savior’s love, the fire that fuels our days.
Through every trial, His grace shall quench our thirst,
America, Christ’s beacon, set ablaze.
