When is the last
time you heard
the word sin?
Exactly! The
enemy is at work!
However our blessed
Savior is greater!

The world, a mirror cracked by prideful hands,
Reflects a shadowed Sodom’s brazen glow,
Where virtue bends to vice in shifting sands,
And hearts forget the streams from which they flow.
Once walked a Man with words of piercing light,
His voice a balm, His steps a holy guide,
He called the lost from darkness into sight,
And bore the cross where sin and mercy vied.
Yet now we dance to tunes of hollow cheer,
Our altars cold, our lamps but faintly burn,
A Gomorrah blooms where grace once drew near,
And still His whisper bids us to return.
Oh, Christ, restore what folly has undone,
Thy Word, our dawn, Thy ways, our endless sun.

Based on I Corinthians 15:53 (KJV)
When mortal flesh ascends to glorious might,
Beneath a vault where stars in splendor blaze,
The eyes, reborn, drink deep of boundless sights,
A realm unveiled to everlasting gaze.
The mountains bow, their peaks in golden flame,
Oceans unfurl, their depths a jeweled expanse,
Each hue ignites, too vast for words to name,
A world remade in beauty’s fierce advance.
The winds bear songs no living ear could claim,
Through endless skies, the hosts of light parade,
Time’s curtain parts, all history aflame,
A radiant host in endless ranks arrayed.
And there we stand, with vision crowned anew,
To see the boundless sights immortality reveals.

The poem contrasts a tame, private Christianity—tolerated by the world when quiet and unassertive—with the faith ignited by Biblical conviction. This bold, Scripture-rooted faith incites persecutions and fury as it challenges the status quo. While a meek creed avoids conflict, the faith burning with God’s Word endures opposition, forcing the world to confront what it continually rejects, and culminates in the passionate, unbowed Christian guided by Heaven.
The world permits a faith that softly gleams,
A whispered prayer, a gospel hushed and meek,
A church that kneels in shadows, lost in dreams,
Too timid to disturb the silence bleak.
But rises now a faith, by Scripture fired,
Ignited bold with Biblical decree—
Persecutions rage, the darkened wrath inspired,
Their fury storms where truth stands firm and free.
For quiet creeds no empires need to sway,
No comfort’s pierced by murmurs in the pew,
Yet faith aflame with God’s own Word holds sway,
And bids the world face what it long eschews.
Though trials descend, the faithful still abide,
A Christian fierce, unbowed, by Heaven guided.

The poem describes a hidden corruption within a powerful, seemingly grand system. Shadows infiltrate the core of authority, truth is suppressed beneath a deceptive facade, and a quiet, festering conflict undermines justice and righteousness. It’s a concise yet evocative critique of moral decay in a seat of power.
When shadows weave through halls of power’s core,
And truth lies buried ‘neath a gilded throne,
The rot runs deep, a festering, silent war,
Where justice bends, and righteousness is overthrown.

The poem portrays healing as a gift of grace, achieved through a single word from Christ, triggered by the royal faith of prayer, which restores the sick with divine power.
When healing grace alone can mend the frail,
One word from Christ, and all is set aright,
A royal faith in prayer shall prevail,
The sick restored by Heaven’s boundless might.

The cross ignites, a beacon fierce and grand,
Where Christ, my Victor, broke sin’s iron sway,
His blood a flood to cleanse each trembling hand,
A shout of conquest rends the dark away!
For those who shudder at the faintest stain,
He storms the void with mercy’s blazing sword,
Death’s sting lies trampled, guilt’s accusing reign,
Dissolved by light no shadow can afford!
Each fault they mourn, His glory turns to gold,
Their tender hearts, once bruised, now boldly rise,
Sin’s whispers fade, His power remolds the soul,
A radiant dawn unveils their royal guise!
Rejoice, ye sensitive, in triumph’s gleam,
God’s heirs transformed, forever pure, supreme!

With every prayer a fragile hope takes flight,
A whispered wish ascends to realms unseen,
Where miracles, like stars that pierce the night,
May bloom where mortal dreams have never been.
The heart, in quiet, bends to sacred will,
Each word a thread to weave a chance divine,
A spark to stir the heavens, calm or still,
That grace might fall where faith and fate align.
Yet who can say what wonders lie in store?
The humble plea may shift the world’s design,
A ripple vast from one small voice outpoured,
To mend the broken with a love benign.
So pray, and let the possible unfold,
For miracles are mysteries retold.

The tongue of wisdom weaves a gentle thread,
A balm to soothe the wounds of weary hearts,
Its words, like rivers, flow where pain has bled,
And mend the soul with healing’s tender arts.
No reckless barbs escape its careful guard,
No venom drips from lips so finely tuned,
But peace unfolds, a gift not won by shard,
A melody of grace, softly crooned.
The foolish speak, and storms begin to rise,
Their syllables a blade to pierce the day,
Yet wisdom’s voice, with health in every guise,
Turns night to dawn, and drives the dark away.
So let the wise with measured speech abide,
For in their tongues, true healing does reside.

Within us glows the Christ, our hope supreme,
A beacon strong through shadows thick with strife,
Yet round us lurk the hearts that scorn the dream,
Unreasonable souls who shun the life.
Not all men bear the faith that lifts the soul,
Some wicked turn from truth’s unyielding call,
Their malice weaves a dark and bitter toll,
A snare to trip the faithful lest they fall.
But grace divine, our shield through every plea,
Delivers us from hands that seek to bind,
For in His love, we find the strength to flee,
The peace that calms the storm of mortal mind.
So stand we firm, with hope as our refrain,
Saved from the lost, through faith we shall remain.
