May the treasure that stirs our soul’s delight, Be the wealth we lavish in the skies, A gleaming hoard beyond all earthly sight, Stored rich in Heaven where true bounty lies. Let this alone—our eternal gain— Mark the measure of our fleeting days, Our hearts aligned to Christ’s unending reign, The only prize worth all our earthly praise.
May every sacred word, a gleaming gem, Like molten silver poured from Heaven’s forge, Or golden flames that dance on seraphim, Leap from the Bible’s hallowed, boundless gorge. May these seeds sink in earth, a fertile womb, Sprouting roses drenched in incense rare, Not jagged thorns, grim daggers of the tomb, But blossoms bold, perfuming sacred air.
With grace, a river carved by Heaven’s hand, And growth, a vine that climbs through sacred sod, New vistas bloom, Christ-gifted, mercy-grand, Perspectives bathed in love from throne of God.
Another dawn, a treasure chest unlatched, To hunt and seize the blessings veiled and bold, Gifts that gleam, both seen and spirit-snatched, From our Triune God, majestic, lavish, gold!
Can you hear the royal roar, the fanfare’s blaze, When Jesus storms a sphere of earth or sky? Angels blast on trumpets forged in praise, Gold and gems aglow, their notes soar high! Celestial tunes, a torrent wild and free, Burst forth to hail the King of Kings’ advance, Jubilant swells of Heaven’s symphony, Resound where Christ, our Lord, ignites the dance.
Flowers flare, a riot of sudden bloom, Emerald trees bend low in verdant bow, Wild beasts, once fierce, now hum a gentle tune, Their voices rise, in worship soft and slow. O redeemed, behold the triumph’s vivid gleam, A majestic thought, a victory unfurled— When Savior, Friend, and King of all our dreams, Strides in, heralded by trumpets of the world!
Earth and all its gleam will crumble, fade, A fleeting mist, a whisper swept astray. Yet Heaven stands, our true and timeless glade, A city vast, of worth no scale can weigh! Its roots dive deep, unshaken, star-forged stone, No force can rend its walls of cosmic might, May we chase this realm, eternal, brightly shone, A glorious throne, indestructible, alight.
Our treasures gleam beyond this mortal crust, Not bound to clay that cracks beneath the sun, The pearl of price, outshining earthly dust, Salvation’s spark—divinely, holy won! A birth anew, through Heaven’s boundless gate, Our truest hoard, where Christ forever reigns, Live for that city, grand, inviolate, Where endless joy in sacred light sustains!
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3: 22-23 (KJV)
O Savior’s grace, a golden tide unfurls, Glorious, generous, fresh with every dawn, A mercy gleams, like sunrise strung with pearls, Cross-won, it gifts what flesh could ne’er have drawn. Hope springs alive, unquenched, beyond our grasp, Love stands firm, a fortress none can breach— Perpetual, unshaken, ironclad clasp, Imperishable light in endless reach.
This mercy shines, a diamond forged in skies, No fiend can mar its gleam or crack its core, A shimmering shield where demonic shadows die, Its brilliance holds, unyielding evermore. Rejoice, redeemed, as morn unveils its hue, A kaleidoscope of regal colors streams, God’s Triune mercy drapes us, rich and new, A heavenly veil stitched with celestial beams.
Salvation storms through Christ, our mighty Lord, A lavish gift, exorbitant and rare, Exquisite flame, sin’s darkened veil restored, To souls once lost, now blameless, bright, and fair! From filth to triumph, born anew we rise, Victorious heirs, with royal blood infused, Joint kin with Jesus, strength that never dies, Our Holy Rock, divine, unbowed, unloosed!
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Matthew 5:11-12 (KJV)
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4and patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Romans 5:3 (KJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Romans 5:22-23 (KJV)
As Christ’s own flame, a fervent heart aflame, A target gleams upon our backs, so stark— From lost souls blind, from nominals who claim, Yet ape the world in dress and worldly mark. Wolves prowl near, in wool their fangs disguise, While haters scorn our Savior’s precious name— May every dart, each stone, each hateful guise, Stoke passion fierce for Christ, our endless flame!
Let slander’s sting, persecution’s roar, Become our badge, a holy honor worn, Each lie a seed, blessed beneath the core, That blooms to gold, where Spirit’s fruit is born! Thorns prick here, and tears may carve their stream, Yet Heaven turns them crowns of radiant glee— We stand unbowed, in Jesus’ light supreme, Rejoicing still, till face to face we see!
