From Celestial Heights: The Sorrow of Esther and Mordecai Beholding the Depravity of Persia’s Modern Throne by Debbie Harris

In Susa’s ancient halls, where once she rose,
A queen of hidden courage, brave, composed,
To shatter chains that Haman forged in hate,
And save her kin from Persia’s cruel fate—
Now Hamadan’s old stone, in silence weeps,
Where Esther’s tomb its quiet vigil keeps.
From heaven’s height, the righteous pair looks down,
On darkened rule that wears a thorny crown.
Mordecai sees the land he once redeemed,
Now bound again by tyranny’s cold scheme.
How deep the sorrow in celestial sight,
To witness light eclipsed by endless night—
Yet Purim’s joy, through ages, still proclaims:
From deepest gloom, deliverance often came.
Hope lingers yet beneath the tyrant’s rod;
The God of Esther works through humble blood.

O Thou who first didst speak the light to flame,
And from Thy boundless heart the heavens came,
The rose’s blush, the star’s unyielding gleam,
The ocean’s song, the mountain’s silent dream—
All beauty flows from Thee, the Fountain pure,
And Thou art Beauty Itself, forever sure.

In Eden’s dawn, when earth was yet untrod,
Thy finger traced the lily and the sod;
Each dewdrop held Thy splendor, each bird’s wing
A hymn to glory that the angels sing.
Yet not in creatures doth Thy essence dwell—
They mirror but the light in which we fell.

Behold the Son, the Word made flesh divine,
In whom the Father’s glory fully shine!
The fairest of ten thousand, robed in grace,
Whose countenance outshines the noonday blaze.
He is the Archetype, the perfect Form,
The living Beauty that no storm can harm.

When thorns did crown His brow, and nails did pierce,
True Beauty suffered—yet grew never less;
For love’s deep wound revealed the hidden fire,
The splendor veiled in blood and dark desire.
Transfigured now in resurrection’s morn,
He reigns as Light where endless day is born.

O Christ, Thou Beauty self and Beauty’s Giver,
Draw us to Thee, our soul’s eternal River.
Let every eye that seeks the good and true
Find in Thy face the vision ever new.
For he who wrought all beauty for our sight
Is Beauty Infinite—eternal Light, O Christ our delight.

Thoughts Worth Dwelling On: The Blessed Hope of the Rapture and the Glorious Government of Our Lord Jesus Christ by Debbie Harris

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Phillipians 4:6-9 KJV

O set your heart on things above,
Where Christ shall soon descend in love;
The trumpet sound, the archangel’s cry—
True promise lifts our gaze on high.

What is more true than His sure word?
The dead in Christ shall rise first, assured;
Caught up together in clouds we soar,
To meet the Lord forevermore.

What is more honorable, more just,
Than the King returning in power and trust?
No longer meek upon a lowly ass,
But crowned in glory, the First and Last.

What is more pure than spotless grace,
That calls His bride to yonder place?
Washed white as snow, without a stain,
In robes of righteousness we reign.

How lovely is that day of light,
When shadows flee before His sight!
The earth restored, the curse undone,
Peace flowing like a river’s run.

What good report shall echo wide?
The government on His shoulder abides—
Justice and mercy in perfect blend,
A thousand years of joy without end.

No tyrant sways, no wicked thrives,
For righteousness forever lives;
The wolf with lamb in harmony lies,
The knowledge of the Lord fills earth and skies.

If there be any virtue, any praise,
Then fix your thoughts these coming days:
The rapture’s hope, the throne of gold,
Where Christ is King, and love untold.

Let not the storms of earth prevail,
Nor fleeting fears your peace assail;
But dwell upon this glorious theme—
Our soon-coming Savior, our reigning King supreme.

Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus, come!
In this sweet meditation, find your home.

Under the Shadow of His Wings They Rise: The Heart’s Exquisite, Fragrant Response to Everlasting Love Of Jesus Christ by Debbie Harris

When boundless love descends like morning dew
Upon the parched and thirsty soul below,
The wanderer lifts his eyes, his spirit new,
And bids the ancient gates of praise to glow.

As rivers clap their hands and mountains sing,
So hearts in wonder rise to bless His name;
They enter courts with thanksgiving’s offering,
And fill His house with songs of righteousness.

No cold command compels, but grace ignites—
They love because He first loved them in might;
With all the heart, the soul, the mind’s pure lights,
They walk in paths of sweet obedience’s delight.

In shadow of His wings they refuge find,
And pour out fragrance like the rose entwined.

From Throne to Cross: The Unmerited, Unfailing Love That Conquers All by Debbie Harris

No mortal work ascends the holy height,
Nor gilded deed draws near the throne of flame;
All human righteousness, in God’s pure sight,
Is but as filthy rags, unworthy, lame.

None bring their coin, their claim, their pleading art,
No merit forged by will or sweat avails;
The law condemns the proud, the contrite heart—
Yet grace descends where every effort fails.

Behold the Lamb! His blood, His life, His pain—
The sole oblation Heaven will receive.
In Christ alone the sinner’s righteousness is gained;
His spotless robe the naked soul reprieves.

O Savior, sole defense of every soul,
In Thee true merit lives—complete, eternal, whole.

A Royal Vow: That Our Fervent, Unceasing Pursuit as Those Redeemed by Royal Blood Shall Magnify and Crown Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with Endless Glory by Debbie Harris

In royal robes of grace, we stand redeemed,
Crowned heirs by blood that flowed from Calvary’s tree,
Once lost in shadow, now in light supreme,
Awakened souls set fervently to be
A living flame, a chase without a cease,
Pursuing Him who first pursued our heart—
With passion fierce, through storm and through sweet peace,
We run the race, nor ever shall depart.

No fleeting whim, this fire that burns within,
But holy zeal, kindled by heaven’s breath,
To magnify the King who conquered sin,
And draw all eyes to His victorious death.

May every step, each word, each prayer we raise,
Crown Him with glory through our endless days.

O Lord, Grant Steel to the Spine and Fire to the Soul: A Plea for Courage to Root Out Corruption Through National Repentance and the Lordship of Christ by Debbie Harris

The canker deep has wormed its way, O Lord,
Through every vein of rule and rod of sword;
Like ivy black it climbs the marble stair,
And chokes the light of justice everywhere.

In velvet robes the traitors sit and smile,
Their oaths dissolved in gold, their truth beguile;
The quill that signed the law now signs the sale,
While honest men grow faint and turn their tale.

From palace dome to village courthouse door,
The serpent coils where trust once stood before;
The well of honor, once so pure and clear,
Now runs with bribes and whispers of the fear.

We weary, Lord, of honeyed words that lie,
Of painted smiles beneath a painted sky;
Of righteous men who learned the coward’s art
And traded spine for safety of the heart.

Yet deeper still the sickness lies concealed:
A nation turns from Christ, its soul unrevealed.
Corruption thrives where altars stand forsaken,
Where hearts refuse the cross that sin has taken.

So call us all, O Lord, to bow and see
Our only hope: repent, and turn to Thee!
Let every soul receive the Savior’s grace,
And crown Him King in every heart and place.

For only when we honor Christ as Lord,
As nation, people, city, home, and board,
Will darkness flee, the hidden rot exposed,
And truth arise where once the lie reposed.

Then grant them iron, not the gaudy kind,
But ancient steel that bends not to the wind;
The courage grim that rises in the night
When power’s friends have vanished from the sight.

Let one clear “No” ring out across the hall,
Though titles fall and gilded favors pall;
Let backbone rise, unbowed, unbent, severe,
And drive the darkness trembling from its lair.

Root out the rot, but first root deep within
The remnant few who still recall the sin
Of selling soul for place, for coin, for peace—
And give them strength that never bends, nor flees.

So arm the just with adamant and flame,
That Christ may reign and honor bear His name.
Amen—and swiftly, lest the last light fail
And night eternal claim the common soul.

No Dross Remains: The Sevenfold Glory of the LORD’s Pure and Preserved Word – A Rapturous Hymn Upon the Silver Tried in Earth’s Deep Furnace by Debbie Harris

Summary of the Poem
(“No Dross Remains: The Sevenfold Glory of the LORD’s Pure and Preserved Word – A Rapturous Hymn Upon the Silver Tried in Earth’s Deep Furnace”)

The poem is a soaring, reverent meditation on Psalm 12:6 (KJV), celebrating the absolute purity and eternal reliability of God’s Word.

It portrays divine speech as silver of unmatched perfection—cast into a blazing heavenly furnace and refined seven times, a number symbolizing complete and flawless purification. Every trace of impurity, falsehood, or human corruption (“dross”) is utterly consumed, leaving only radiant, unblemished truth that shines brighter than any earthly metal.

The imagery rises in intensity: the furnace roars like a living pyre, the bellows breathe, the flames kiss and consume, forging a blade of light too brilliant for mortal eyes yet tender as dew to the seeking heart. This silver Word stands untouched by time, lies, or the darkness of generations, a towering, unquenchable star amid the world’s broken vows.

In its final flight, the poem becomes a prayer and a vow of trust: God’s sevenfold-refined Word is the unshakable anchor for believers in the last days’ storm. It promises to preserve the faithful, lift their souls on wings of desire, and endure forever—when even the heavens themselves shall fail—because the One who kindled the refining fire will never fade.

In essence, the poem exalts God’s Word as:

  • Perfectly pure
  • Eternally preserved
  • A living, radiant, fiery-yet-gentle truth
  • The believer’s enduring hope and glory through every age.

From heaven’s forge the silver sentence falls,
Pure as the first light breaking on the deep;
Seven times the flame has kissed its walls,
And every dross is burned in vigil steep.
No speck of falsehood dares its surface creep—
Refined through crucible of wrath and grace,
It gleams, eternal, in the holy place.

See how the furnace roars, a living pyre,
Where ancient prophets’ cries and angels’ song
Are melted down in one consuming fire;
The bellows breathe, the coals blaze fierce and long,
Till sevenfold radiance makes the metal strong—
A blade of light, too bright for mortal sight,
Yet soft as dew upon the heart at night.

No tarnish clings, no rust of time can mar;
Through ages dark with lies and broken vows
It stands, a tower of unquenchable star,
Whose every syllable the soul allows
To rise on wings where earthly tumult bows.
O Word of God, thou silver river bright,
Thou flowest still through everlasting night.

Preserve us, Lord, as Thou hast promised true;
In this last generation’s howling gale,
Thy purified silver shall our anchor be,
Unshaken, radiant, when the heavens fail—
For Thou who kindlest flame shalt never pale.
Thy word, refined in sevenfold holy fire,
Shall lift our souls to realms of pure desire.

Almost Thou Persuadest To Be A Christian: A Tragic Place To Be For Any Soul by Debbie Harris

Acts 26:27-29 (King James Version)

27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.
28 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
29 And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.

King Agrippa heard the tale unfold,
Of light that struck upon the Damascus road,
How chains of sin were broken, blind made bold,
And Christ the risen Lord was Paul’s abode.

The Scriptures spoke, the prophets’ words aligned,
The gospel pierced the heart with holy fire;
Yet pride and ease within the soul entwined,
Held back the final step of true desire.

“Almost thou persuadest me,” he cried,
So near the gate where mercy’s waters flow;
One whispered “yes” would open Heaven wide,
But silence answered, and the moment go.

The apostle’s voice grew tender, full of grace,
“I would to God that thou, and all who hear,
Were not almost, but wholly in this place,
Save these my bonds, redeemed and without fear.”

Yet Agrippa turned, the door remained ajar,
A hairline gleam of glory fading fast;
He chose the throne, the crown, the world’s bright star,
And let eternal life slip through the past.

O hear the warning in that single breath—
“Almost” is not the saving of the soul;
It is the widest gap twixt life and death,
The cruelest distance where the lost still roll.

Today the Savior stands with wounded hands,
The door still open, calling soft and true;
Let not tomorrow’s promise bind your plans—
Come now, come fully, lest “almost” claim you too.

Vow of the Blood-Bought Soul: May Our Redeemed Existence, Freed from Bondage, Stand as a Perpetual, Joyful, and Wholehearted Gift unto Our Most High and Precious Creator by Debbie Harri

This is a communal hymn of gratitude and consecration, spoken in the shared voice of “we” — all who have been redeemed by God’s grace.

It calls believers to rise together and offer their entire lives as a willing, joyful gift to their Savior, not because of personal merit or obligation, but purely in response to the boundless mercy that has freed them from sin’s bondage and called them by name.

Every moment of life — each new dawn, every breath, every heartbeat — is presented as an act of worship: a living sacrifice of praise that flows from love rather than duty. The redeemed walk as vessels of God’s light through all seasons of life, until the final breaking of heaven’s eternal day.

In the end, the poem declares the ultimate purpose of this surrendered existence:
to give God all glory, forever, in worship, love, and undying flame.

O let us rise, redeemed by grace divine,
And offer up these lives no longer thine;
Not by our striving, nor by works we claim,
But by the mercy that has called our name.

Freed from the chains that once our spirits bound,
We stand before Thee, pardoned and uncrowned;
Each breath a chorus, every pulse a song,
To Thee, our Savior, to whom we belong.

May every dawn we greet become a vow,
Each fleeting hour a living offering now;
Not duty’s burden, heavy on the soul,
But love’s glad answer, making broken whole.

So let us walk as vessels of Thy light,
Through shadowed valleys and through noonday bright,
Till heaven’s morning breaks in endless day,
And all our redeemed lives forever say:

“Thou art our glory, Thou our endless aim—
We give Thee all, in worship, love, and flame.”
