When man forsakes the sacred writ of old,
The compass true that steers through storm and strife,
He wanders blind, in shadows dark and cold,
And yields his soul to falsehood’s subtle knife.

The enemy, with whispers soft and sly,
Doth twist the heart and cloud the seeking mind,
A web of lies where truth itself may die,
And virtue’s path grows ever hard to find.

Without the Word, the standard firm and clear,
Deception reigns, a king on borrowed throne,
Each step astray, a fall to doubt and fear,
Till man believes he treads the world alone.

Yet grace remains, a light through scripture shown,
To break the lie and claim us as His own.

No sword I have, but a pen I wield,
To wrought havoc on wickedness concealed,
With ink as my blade, sharp and keen,
Truth cuts through lies, pure and clean.

Inspirational

All hail the soul of steadfast might,
Modern Patriot, blazing bright!
In restless times, your spirit stands,
A guardian bold of sacred lands.

No musket smoke, no cannon’s peal,
Yet still you forge a heart of steel,
With courage drawn from days of old,
You weave anew the tale retold.

Through city streets and digital tides,
Where freedom’s pulse forever rides,
You lift your voice, unshaken, strong,
To right the weak, to mend the wrong.

The stars and stripes, your compass true,
A timeless creed shines bright in you,
In every choice, in every fight,
You hold aloft the torch of light.

O’er fractured days and shadowed doubt,
You rise, you strive, you thunder out,
A patriot’s will, both fierce and free,
To shape a boundless destiny.

No battlefield of yore you tread,
Yet still for right your strength is led—
The sweat of toil, the stand you take,
A nation’s soul for honor’s sake.

From quiet towns to roaring seas,
You kneel to none but liberty,
With hands outstretched, with spirits high,
You pledge your love ‘neath open sky.

O Patriot of this vibrant age,
Your name shall grace the endless page,
For in your heart, the past unites,
With future’s dawn and freedom’s rights!

American Flag And Constitution Unbowed by Debbie Harris

A savage clamor fouls the sacred air,
The woke scream forth, their voices barbed and shrill,
With rabid cries they rend what once was fair,
A traitor’s lust within their twisted will.

The flag unfurled, with stars of liberty,
And Constitution, bedrock of our creed,
They smite with scorn, a dark fraternity,
To crush the signs where honor’s roots were freed.

Their cause ascends, stained thick with evil’s grime,
Corruption’s mark upon their howling throng,
Yet still these emblems stand through vilest time,
Defiant both, though lashed by wicked wrong.

We guard the Constitution, pure and grand,
Against this rot, with steady heart and hand.

The Cross’s Might, The Soul’s Delight by Debbie Harris

Upon the rugged hill, the Cross ascends,
A timber stark where mercy’s might was shown,
Its shadow falls where human failing ends,
And love divine through sacrifice has grown.
The nails that pierced, the blood that freely fell,
Did rend the veil of sin’s unyielding night,
A power vast, no mortal tongue can tell,
Restored the lost to grace’s boundless light.
The tempests bow, the heavens stand in awe,
For death itself was conquered by that tree,
Its triumph echoes through eternal law,
A ransom paid to set the captive free.
O Cross of Christ, thy strength shall never fade,
In thee, the world’s salvation was remade.

We Are All Sinners, None Exempt Except Those Redeemed By Christ’s Mercy, Love, And Grace by Debbie Harris

The righteous toil, their hands with virtue stained,
Yet deeds of gold cannot the soul redeem,
For all, though kind, in sin’s broad net are chained,
No mortal good can wake salvation’s gleam.
The saintly smile, the alms in quiet stream,
Though fair to earth, to Heaven’s gate fall short,
Each heart, beneath its glow, hides flaws supreme,
All born to stray, by nature’s frail report.

No tower of works can breach the sacred veil,
No pious mask erase the scarlet flaw,
For grace alone, not merit, must prevail,
To lift the lost beyond the judgment’s law.
So all are sinners, bound by human birth,
Saved not by hands, but mercy’s boundless worth.

Heaven’s Anthem When One Repents And Becomes Redeemed by Debbie Harris

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Luke 15:7 (KJV)

When wayward soul, once lost in shadowed mire,
Returns with trembling steps to seek the light,
The angels pause their hymns, their wings aspire,
To weave a song of joy through endless night.
No gold nor gems could spark such pure delight,
No earthly triumph match this sacred gain,
For Heaven bends to lift the contrite’s plight,
And washes clean the scarlet stain of pain.

The stars themselves in chorus softly sing,
A sinner’s tear ignites the skies above,
Each note a thread in mercy’s golden ring,
Each chord a testament to boundless love.
So vast the glee when one lost heart is found,
Eternal halls with jubilation sound.

Drift Of A Fractured Faith: The Duplicity Found In Double-Mindedness by Debbie Harris

Upon their lips the sacred words do fall,
Yet in their heart a shadowed doubt resides,
They sing of grace, but heed not heaven’s call,
A mask of faith their truest self derides.
With honeyed tongue they weave a pious tale,
While secret sins like thorns within them grow,
Their soul, a ship with torn and tattered sail,
Drifts twixt the light and depths they dare not know.
Oh, how they kneel to pray at dawn’s first gleam,
Yet turn to chase the idols of their mind,
A fractured one, caught fast in fleeting dream,
Whose double will leaves truth and peace behind.
For God’s clear eye sees through each veiled deceit,
And leaves the wav’rer lost in soul’s defeat.

Purity Unbowed: The Pearl Admist The Swine by Debbie Harris

Biblical Truth, Christ Centered Devotionals, Christian Poetry

When holiness, that sacred flame, is scorned,
And purity, a pearl, is cast to swine,
The world with jester’s tongue is overworn,
Its laughter drowns the whisper of divine.
The meek are mocked, their stillness deemed a flaw,
While brazen noise ascends the gaudy throne,
Yet in their quiet hearts abides the law,
A truth unshaken, carved in timeless stone.
Though cynics sneer and shadows veil the light,
The pure endure, their radiance concealed,
For what is mocked by day burns clear at night,
In silent grace, its power is revealed.
So let the scoffers wane, their jests decay,
True holiness shall rise at break of day.

The Cruel, Sickening, Satanic, Heinous, Despicable,Terroistic, And Murderous Tactics of Hamas by Debbie Harris

The hands of Hamas weave a cruel design,
Where shadows cast a pall on innocence,
Their wrath, a storm that breaks the fragile line,
Of peace, replaced by terror’s grim pretense.
Through streets where children once in laughter played,
Now echo cries of anguish, sharp and deep,
The olive branch, by blood and fire betrayed,
Lies trampled where the widows come to weep.
What heart could birth such malice, cold and stark,
To rend the soul of life with blade and flame?
Yet in their cause, they claim a righteous spark,
A twisted zeal that bears a hollow name.
Oh, pity those ensnared by hate’s cruel reign,
For mercy’s song is drowned in endless pain.
