There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:1 (KJV)

In Christ, no judgment casts its heavy shade,
For those who tread not flesh’s fleeting way,
But follow Spirit’s call, their hearts remade,
A freedom blooms where once was stern decay.

The law of sin, with chains of guilt entwined,
No longer binds the soul that seeks His grace,
For in His love, a pardon pure we find,
A peace beyond the world’s accusing face.

Through mortal steps, the flesh may pull astray,
Yet Spirit lifts us to a higher plane,
Where condemnation fades like night to day,
And life eternal flows through every vein.

So walk in Him, and fear no righteous rod,
For Jesus’ blood has reconciled us—God.

Faith Cometh By Hearing And Hearing By the Word Of God by Debbie Harris

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:17 (KJV)

By hearing wakes the soul to faith’s embrace,
A whisper soft, yet mighty in its call,
The word of God unfolds with boundless grace,
Through mortal ears, it echoes to enthrall.

No eye beholds the seed that stirs within,
Yet sound alone can plant the heart’s desire,
A sacred voice redeems us from our sin,
And lifts us high on wings of holy fire.

Each syllable resounds with truth divine,
A testament to power ever near,
The deafened soul begins to intertwine
With promises that conquer doubt and fear.

So faith, by hearing, blooms where words are sown,
And God’s own voice claims hearts as His alone.

Amid the storms that rage with darkened might,
When shadows cloak the soul in deep despair,
And mortal strength dissolves beneath the fight,
A whispered truth ascends the heavy air:
“But God,” the heart declares through trembling breath,
A sovereign hand that parts the tempest’s roar,
A light that pierces through the veil of death,
Restoring what the broken cannot restore.
Though chaos reigns and human hopes may fade,
His mercy flows where reason finds no way,
A rock unshaken, promises unswayed,
The dawn that turns the night to endless day.
So let the world its fleeting doubts proclaim,
“But God” remains my refuge and my flame.

The righteous path begins with dawn’s faint gleam,
A tender light that breaks the grip of night,
It rises soft, a slow and steady beam,
And grows in strength to banish dark from sight.
Like morning sun, it climbs with gentle grace,
Through mists of doubt, it carves a golden way,
Each step reveals a clearer, brighter space,
Till shadows flee before the blaze of day.
No storm can dim this radiance divine,
No cloud obscure its sure, unerring course,
For truth and goodness in its rays align,
A quiet power drawn from heaven’s source.
So shines the soul that walks in virtue’s sight,
Full noon arrives—eternal, pure, and bright.

Through trials deep and mountains high,
With faith, we rise, we touch the sky.
His strength within, a steady stream,
Christ lifts us up to stand supreme.

When shadows fall and doubts take hold,
His power turns the weak to bold.
In every step, through joy or strife,
His living might sustains our life.

The sacred page in stillness speaks to all,
Its words, unerring, carved by heaven’s hand,
No flaw within its truth shall ever fall,
A rock eternal where the faithful stand.

Its beauty flows like rivers pure and deep,
Each verse a jewel, each line a golden thread,
Through ages vast, its promises it keeps,
A living voice that wakes the silent dead.

No mortal pen could match its holy art,
Nor time erode the light it freely gives,
It binds the soul and purifies the heart,
In every breath of scripture, beauty lives.

So stands the Word, unblemished, fair, and true,
A gift divine, forever born anew.

Earthly treasures, grand yet frail,
a mirage destined to pale,
Heaven’s riches, vast and high,
crown the soul with glory’s cry.

Amid the void where tempests reign supreme,
A sovereign blaze ignites the celestial stream,
A regal light, unconquered, vast, and grand,
Proclaiming glory o’er the trembling land.

The heavens bow, their starry thrones ablaze,
As His resplendent beams transcend all days,
A torrent fierce of molten gold unfurls,
Crowning the firmament, outshining pearls.

O’er peaks that pierce the vaulted sky’s expanse,
His luminous decree in splendor dance,
A scepter’s glow through realms unbound by time,
An anthem carved in everlasting chime.

Through shattered wastes where mortal hopes decay,
His radiant will ascends in bold array,
A monarch’s dawn, majestic, pure, and free,
The ceaseless Light enthroned eternally.

Jesus: The Gentle Shepherd of Our Souls by Debbie Harris

Beneath the sky of endless grace,
A Shepherd walks in quiet pace,
His hands, so gentle, worn yet strong,
Guide wandering sheep where they belong.

Through fields of green, by waters still,
He leads with love, through vale and hill,
A lamb so frail, He lifts with care,
And shields it from the chilly air.

His voice, a whisper, soft and sweet,
Calms every heart, each trembling bleat,
In tender arms, He holds them near,
A balm for doubt, a cure for fear.

When shadows fall and wolves draw close,
He stands as guard, their fierce repose,
His staff a comfort, steady, true,
His flock renewed by morning dew.

Oh, Shepherd kind, with eyes so deep,
You seek the lost, the lone, the weak,
In every clasp, a promise sown,
That none You love will walk alone.
