Upon the cross, where crimson mercy flowed,
A Savior bore the weight of human sin,
His sacrifice, the grace that God bestowed,
Restored the path where lost souls might begin.
No works of ours could cleanse the stain within,
For law alone reveals our deep despair,
Yet through His blood, the victory we win,
A righteousness divine beyond compare.
The Father’s wrath, once kindled by our fall,
Was quenched by Christ, the Lamb of spotless name,
His death a bridge to reconcile us all,
His rising life our pardon to proclaim.
Through faith in Him, we stand justified,
In love eternal, ever sanctified.
