Jude 1:25 (KJV)
“To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”

I. Wisdom
To the only wise God, our Saviour,
whose counsel predates the first dawn,
who inscribed the law on spiral arms
before the serpent learned to crawl—
let every question find its home
inside the silence of Your throne.

II. Glory
Be glory: the uncreated light
that clothed the bush yet did not burn,
the splendor Moses could not sight
until his face with radiance turned;
it streams from wounds upon the tree
and crowns the humble bended knee.

III. Majesty
Be majesty: the diadem
of galaxies in circling dance,
the terror veiled in Bethlehem,
the thunder hushed in swaddling bands;
kings cast their crowns, the mountains bow,
the seraphs veil their faces now.

IV. Dominion
Be dominion: the quiet reign
that holds the sparrow in its fall,
the scepter breaking every chain,
the kingdom come in spite of all;
its borders stretch from east to west,
yet fit inside a sinner’s chest.

V. Power
Be power: the Word that split the sea,
the breath that woke the valley dry,
the might that knelt at Gethsemane
and chose the nails instead of sky;
it raises dead men from their shame
and whispers life into a name.

VI. Now
Both now—
in hospital wards and wedding feasts,
in refugee boats and candlelight,
in every heartbeat of the least,
Your mercy keeps the dark at bay;
the clock may race, the shadows fall,
but grace outruns the speed of all.

VII. Ever
And ever—
when suns collapse and moons forget,
when entropy has paid its debt,
when last amen is softly set
into the hush of finished strife;
Your glory, majesty, dominion, power
will bloom eternal in that hour.

Amen.

Jude 1:25 (KJV)
“To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen

To the only wise God, our Saviour—
a lone and radiant intellect
that spun the spiral arms of night,
yet stooped to cradle dust and breath—
be glory, like a burning coal
laid on the tongue of every soul
till silence itself learns to sing.

Be majesty, a robe of stars
unclasped across the midnight bars,
where seraphim in hushed accord
unveil the face they dare not name;
its hem drags galaxies in flame
and still outshines the proudest lord.

Be dominion, the iron scepter
tempered in mercy’s gentler fire,
that breaks the yoke of death’s empire
and plants a garden in the desert;
its shadow lengthens, yet invites
the trembling exile to its heights.

Be power, the pulse beneath the veil
of atom, storm, and comet’s trail,
the whispered “Let there be” that hurled
a trillion suns in ordered whirl;
it thunders soft within the Word
and calms the chaos with a sigh.

Both now—
while empires rot and roses fade,
while children laugh and widows weep,
while blood is spilled and bread is shared—
Your throne stands firm, Your promise deep;
the clock ticks on, yet cannot mar
the timeless instant where You are.

And ever—
when entropy has spent its rage,
when last black hole exhales its page,
when silence folds the final age
into the hush of finished grace;
the echo of the Lamb’s “Amen”
will still resound through boundless then.

Amen.

To the only God, our Savior,
a single throne of boundless light,
where mercy bends the knee to might—
be glory, like a river’s roar
that carves the canyon of the night.

Be majesty, a mountain crowned
with snow that never melts away,
its silence louder than the fray
of empires rising, falling down.

Be power, thunder in the vein
of stars that pulse yet never die,
a heartbeat echoing on high
through galaxies that sing Your reign.

Be authority, the quiet word
that stills the storm and calms the sea,
the verdict spoken eternally
before the first and final bird.

All this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
the bridge of flesh from dust to throne,
the Lamb enthroned, the cornerstone—
His wounds the seal, His blood the chord.

Before all ages, ere the flame
of morning lit the virgin sky,
Your purpose hummed, Your love drew nigh;
now, in the heartbeat of our frame;
and forevermore, when time is done,
the echo answers, “It is won.”

Amen.

Redeemed by Christ’s blood and crowned with mercy, believers hold the royal privilege of constant, intimate prayer—whispering boldly at any moment to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Their breath becomes a bridge, their hearts an open door, to the Sovereign who calls them His own.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
—Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
—Romans 8:15 (KJV)

What a privilege we bear,
crowned in crimson mercy,
to whisper in prayer at any hour
to the King of Kings,
the Lord of Lords—
our breath a bridge,
our hearts the door.

A haiku titled Empty Tomb Dawn depicts Jesus as a carpenter crucified on a rough cross, with dawn revealing an empty tomb—evoking sacrifice and resurrection in three vivid lines.

Carpenter’s rough hands
Nailed to the splintered cross—
Dawn breaks, tomb lies bare

A Cascade of Christ’s Gifts: Love, Forgiveness, and the Eternal Gift of Salvation Freely Given by Debbie Harris

My heart burns to proclaim the love, grace, and eternal faithfulness of Christ Jesus. As a performer with a master’s in performance, I crafted this poem to roar like an aria, cascading like a waterfall of faith that can’t be contained. The publishing world may turn away from such unbridled passion, preferring polished whispers to bold shouts, but I won’t dim this fire. This poem is my soul’s cry—a call to all peoples to run to Jesus, who freely gives salvation and will never betray you. Let these King James scriptures set the stage for a truth that demands to be heard.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost Romans 15:13, KJV

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3, KJV

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7, KJV

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.1 John 5:11, KJV

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13, KJV

I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5, KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8, KJV

There is hope,
Love, mercy,
Grace, forgiveness,
Eternal life,
Friendship, truth—
Everything one needs
In Christ Jesus our Lord!
Run to Him, all peoples,
Run to Him with haste!
For Jesus loves,
Restores,
Transforms—
One who can never,
Will never,
No, ever betray you!

Holy Proximity to Emmanuel’s Glory: A Poetic Reflection on the Redeemed Saint’s Journey Drawing Nigh to the Heart of God by Debbie Harris

The poem, inspired by James 4:8a (KJV) – “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you,” is a reverent and awe-filled celebration of the intimate relationship between a redeemed saint and Emmanuel, God with us. It portrays the majestic God of the universe stooping to meet the humble, seeking heart of a believer. The poem emphasizes the divine promise that as one draws near to God, He reciprocates with His presence, enveloping the saint in grace and love. Through vivid imagery of heaven’s light, seraphs’ songs, and the vastness of creation, it underscores the wonder of God’s nearness to a royally redeemed soul, affirming the transformative power of faith and the sacred proximity to the divine.

Based on James 4:8a (KJV) – “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”

In the hush of heaven’s holy light,
Emmanuel, the God of endless might,
Stoops from realms where seraphs sing,
To meet the heart that seeks its King.

Oh, royally redeemed, a saint made whole,
By grace divine, He claims my soul.
The God of stars, of seas, of skies,
Draws near to hear my humble cries.

“Draw nigh to God,” the Spirit calls,
Through sacred pages, mercy falls.
A step toward Him, with trembling awe,
And He descends, no veil, no flaw.

The universe’s Sovereign, vast and grand,
Holds this frail heart within His hand.
Emmanuel, God with us, so near,
His presence calms all doubt, all fear.

Oh, wondrous truth, my soul takes flight,
The King of glory bends to my plight.
I draw to Him, my Savior true,
And find His heart draws nearer too.

As saints redeemed, with royal claim,
We walk in grace, we praise His name.
For James declares, in love’s decree,
Draw near to God—He runs to thee.

Summary of “Arise, O Saints, to Contend for Our Faith Unshaken: A Majestic Anthem of Victorious Hope and Royal Courage”

Inspiration: Based on Jude 3, which urges believers to “contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.”

Structure: Six verses with a recurring refrain, written for congregational singing.

Themes: The hymn is a victorious, hope-filled, majestic, and royal call to action, emphasizing steadfast defense of the Christian faith against challenges, empowered by divine strength and united in purpose.

  • Verse 1: Calls believers to rise and contend for the eternal, divine truth that shines forever.
  • Verse 2: Affirms the enduring power and certainty of God’s Word as an anchor amid trials.
  • Verse 3: Encourages bold defense of the faith with Christ’s unquenchable light and righteous kingdom.
  • Verse 4: Highlights the Holy Spirit’s empowerment and Christ’s grace as the source of strength in strife.
  • Verse 5: Emphasizes unity and perseverance under the cross until victory is achieved.
  • Verse 6: Concludes with a doxology, exalting Christ’s eternal reign and unending worship.

Refrain: Reinforces the themes with imagery of “victorious hope,” a “majestic King,” and “royal courage,” proclaiming “our faith unshaken in His name.”

Inspired by Jude 3

Verse 1
O saints of God, arise and stand,
Contend for faith in every land!
The truth eternal, pure, divine,
Shall shine as stars through endless time.

Refrain
Victorious hope, our banner high,
Majestic King, enthroned on high!
With royal courage, we proclaim,
Our faith unshaken in His name!

Verse 2
Though darkness gathers, fierce and bold,
The Word of God shall ne’er grow old.
Its power endures, its promise sure,
Our anchor strong, our hope secure.

Refrain
Victorious hope, our banner high,
Majestic King, enthroned on high!
With royal courage, we proclaim,
Our faith unshaken in His name!

Verse 3
With hearts ablaze, we’ll face the fight,
Defend the truth with holy might.
No foe can dim the Savior’s light,
His kingdom reigns in endless right.

Refrain
Victorious hope, our banner high,
Majestic King, enthroned on high!
With royal courage, we proclaim,
Our faith unshaken in His name!

Verse 4
The Spirit’s fire within us burns,
To Christ, our loyal heart returns.
His grace sustains through every strife,
Our shield, our strength, our source of life.

Refrain
Victorious hope, our banner high,
Majestic King, enthroned on high!
With royal courage, we proclaim,
Our faith unshaken in His name!

Verse 5
United, we shall overcome,
Till every battle’s fought and won.
The cross before us, we’ll endure,
Our calling steadfast, bold, and pure.

Refrain
Victorious hope, our banner high,
Majestic King, enthroned on high!
With royal courage, we proclaim,
Our faith unshaken in His name!

Verse 6
O Lord, our King, forever reign,
Your truth shall never know a chain!
Through endless ages, we’ll adore,
And sing Your praise forevermore!

Refrain
Victorious hope, our banner high,
Majestic King, enthroned on high!
With royal courage, we proclaim,
Our faith unshaken in His name!
