Can? by Debbie Harris

Can we be so focused

on the sins of others that

we do not see our own?

May we see our own sins

true Church of Jesus Christ!

May we repent, and grow

as we lavish on others the

many graces that have been

bounteously bestowed on

each and every one of us.

In These Perilous Times by Debbie Harris

29 Sunday Jan 2023

In these perilous times,

so many followers of

Jesus Christ are not

putting on the Lord

Jesus Christ every day.

For they are not putting

on the new creature fruits

of the Spirit. They are

acting out of the old

slandering, gossiping,

turning one against the

other worshipping power,

money, titles, and being

deceived by false gospels.

Oh how all true Christians

must grieve and long for the

the day when we all will be

perfected and see Jesus’ face

to face. There will be no more

tears of suffering, pain, sin,

looks of contempt, shame

or underserved humiliations.

For we all will be changed,

perfected, sinless, lavishly

and ceaselessly filled with

the glory of Jesus Christ,

our true King of Kings as

we forever bask under the

loving, light-filled presence

of our Savior’s exorbitant love

and undeserved grace. Come,

Lord Jesus, come! Come quickly

The True Christian’s Confession by Debbie Harris

The true repentant, authentic Christian

will always say, I am indeed the chief

of sinners. Thank you for your lavish,

unlimited, unchanging, mercy, love,

and grace. The closer we are to

our Savior the more of our sins,

and imperfections we will see

along with our Lord and Savior’s

magnificent, incomparable,

irreplaceable love, grace,

mercy, and tender Shepherd’s

friendship, and guiding gaze.

If We Are Truly Trying To Walk On The Narrow Road, Like Jesus Lived, We Will Indeed Have Betrayals Like Judas And Demas by Debbie Harris

This know also, that in the last days, perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

2 Timothy 3: 1-6 (KJV)

But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.

2 Timothy 3:1-6 (Amplified)

I wonder how Jesus felt

when betrayed by Judas,

one of the chosen twelve?

He who created the world

and all of us knew it must

be so. For it was the Father’s

will that Salvation for all be

divinely, majestically and

sovereignly accomplished

through the shed blood of the Cross.

And if we are truly trying

to walk upon the narrow road,

like our beloved and precious

Jesus lived, our everything,

we too will have our Judas

heart-wrenching betrayals too.

I wonder how Jesus felt

when betrayed by Judas,

one of the chosen twelve?

I wonder how Paul felt

when Demas decided to

follow the world instead

of the narrow, joyous,

blessed path of Jesus Christ.

I wonder how Paul felt

when Demas, a friend,

co-laborer in Jesus Christ,

betrayed his heart-given trust.

I wonder how Paul felt?

One holy, divine,

blameless and perfect.

Savior of the world

came to die to save

us from our many sins.

The other a sinner saved

by grace who in His heart

the King of Kings resided

who God chose to use to

proclaim the glorious

gospel of Jesus Christ.

They both pressed on!

Our Savior pressed on

in glorious sinless perfection.

Paul pressed on through

grace through faith that

he received from Jesu Christ!

And like Paul, we will too!

For Jesus Christ and

His eternal kingdom,

His Holy ways and Word

are our purpose, our joy,

our lifetime pursuit and

quest. Jesus Christ alone

is our glorious, hope-filled

prize, blessed security,

and the only one we

can truly and forever trust!
