And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written: King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
Revelation 19:6
His robe unfurls, a scarlet banner bright,
And on His thigh, a title boldly gleams,
“King of Kings,” proclaimed in holy light,
“Lord of Lords,” the anthem of all dreams.
No scribe of earth could pen such sovereign claim,
No mortal thread could bear this mighty word,
Yet there it stands, through storm and ceaseless flame,
A name by which all powers are deterred.
The heavens quake, the stars in awe align,
To witness Him who reigns o’er every tide,
His voice resounds, a thunder pure, divine,
And nations fall where once they swelled with pride.
O Christ, whose robe and flesh this truth confess,
Thy name alone is might and righteousness.
