And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
II Kings 6:17 (KJV)
Precious Father,
Savior and
gentle dove
open our
eyes that
we may truly
behold the
ineffable
beauty,
majesty,
power,
glory,
and love
that truly
surrounds us
day by day!
This poem really speaks to me today–as I was walking up to the grocery store, I was thinking about how HE hems and hedges me all around with His protection and love and unfailing faithfulness. And He also helps me to be faithful in the small things, so that He can trust me for the larger ones–what a great Father and Lord!
Amen and Amen. 🙂
Are we allowed to print out your poems–for our personal files only? The one I just read, “What If?” is really worth a daily read.
Yes of course. I would be honored. Blessings. Looking unto Jesus. 🙂
Thank you so much!
You are so welcome. 🙂
A favorite bible account of mine.
