Come and Dine with Me
“Come and dine with me,
I’ll never turn away,
For in you I take delight,”
Sings our Savior, soft and free,
To saints and sinners, all.
“Come and dine with me,
No shame shall touch your soul.
Come and join my feast of grace,
Where I delight to see you whole.”
“Come and dine with me,
A royal call resounds,
With living water, milk, and meat,
Fruit to fill each heart unbound.
Come to the Cross-bought table,
Jubilant with salvation’s sounds.”
“Come and dine with me,
Though foes press all around.
A victor’s table I prepare,
Before their shadowed, ceaseless round.
Come, weary soldier of the Cross,
In triumph now be found.”
“Come and dine with me,
At the Lamb’s great wedding feast,
Where royal heirs don robes of light,
Crowned in righteousness released.
Come, my chosen ones, draw near.”
“Come and dine with me,
Sinner, saint, there’s room for all,
In salvation’s radiant hall,
Where love and grace unfurl their banners tall.”
