Lord, we are sinners, yes!
This is a cause for weeping
for our many sins. Yet we go
further into our salvation and
realize your grace is cause for
ceaseless rejoicing for your
glorious golden glittering grace!
One without the other would
cause sadness, condemnation,
despair, despondency, and a
lack of hope for our many sins.
The other would cause a glibness
and frivolity about the seriousness
of sin. God forbid as the scriptures say
that we sin flippantly because of your
costly gift of immeasurable grace. So
Lord we give thanks that we indeed
are sinners saved by grace. May we
never forget such a delicate and doctrinal
balance of sin and grace. For the
doctrinal reality of sinners saved by
grace gives your royally redeemed wings
covered by your love, mercy, hope, and grace!
