So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.

Zechariah 4:6 (KJV)

The treasures on earth will be commonplace

in Heaven. So what are the treasures of earth

that our precious Savior esteems you say?

There are many! Here are but a very few:

a redeemed heart, a life that is growing

in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ,

a love for the Holy, inerrant Word of God,

the fruits of the Spirit, a forgiving heart,

a heart that weeps for the unredeemed,

walking humbly with our Triune God,

dying to self every day, walking in the Spirit,

not being ashamed of the gospel of our

Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, seeing your

need of repentance every single day,

love for prayer, kind words, kind deeds,

a generous spirit, willing to stand against

evil, love of widows and orphans, rejection

of false teachers and doctrines, strive to

be a Berean, understand the treachery of

human trafficking and the absolutely heinous

wickedness of Satanism. Boldness and courage

regarding the treasures and truth found in the Holy,

flawless, prophetic Word of God! There are so, so,

so many more. None of this is we can accomplish

in our own strength and power. Not by might,

nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord!

Oh may the treasures of Heaven and our blessed

Triune God be the treasures that we seek for,

pray for, long for, and esteem higher than any

worldly, earthly pursuit. Not by might nor by

power but by thy Spirit says the Lord of Hosts.

Not by might nor by power but by thy Spirit says

the Lord of Hosts. Not by might nor by power

but by thy Spirit says the Lord of Hosts. May this

be our daily anthem and song of humble praise,

and adoration to our soon coming Savior and King.

For truly we have nothing, nothing to glory in but the

precious, inestimable Cross of Jesus Christ, our Lord!

(This is my 2000th poem. To God be the glory great things He has done!)
