Would we respond
differently
if we knew
that our
response
to a
brother
or sister
or an
unsaved
soul
would
ultimately
change
their view
of God
or their
opinion
of who
Jesus
really is?
Would we
respond
differently?

What if because
of God’s lavish
grace to us, that
we in all the blessed
moments we have
left on this earth
dare to boldly
demonstrate,
live out,
embody the
grace and love
we have been
so mercifully
been given?

Would not
we see
on the
shores of
redeemed
humanity
lavish waves
of redemptive
grace upon grace
and love poured
out upon the
lanscapes
of hearts,
souls and
lives
who need
to see
Jesus Christ
living in
and through
you and me?

What if?

Our never-ending
ultimate source
for noble living
is Jesus Christ
author of all that
is good, noble, pure,
lovely and of
good report.
Our words,
our actions,
our motives,
our lives
then should
be to give
share and
reflect the
opal like
light giving
iridescence of
our Savior’s
hope, love, joy,
encouragement,
and good news.
Our never-ending
source for
noble living is
Jesus Christ.

The exquisite,
lavish,
unfathomable,
incomparable,
beauty and goodness
of our Triune God
pursues us all with
Calvary’s love.
For Christ our
tender servant,
warrior Savior,
wants to redeem
and divinely rescue all
from guilty to guiltless,
from pauper to joint heir,
from lost to found,
from condemned to no condemnation,
from deceived to delivered,
from lost little lamb to found lamb of the Great I AM,
from prodigal to Prince or Princess,
from deceived to emancipated and free,
from death to life,
oh the exquisite,
lavish,
unfathomable,
incomparable
beauty and goodness
found in our resurrected, living
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Father right
when we are
on the very
precipice of
anger,
impatience,
annoyance or
arrogant judgement
sweep in with
the mighty work
of your
precious
gentle spirit
and replace
our selfish
unbridled
sin-filled
carnality
with your
abounding,
abundant,
lavish,
infinite,
joy,
grace,
mercy,
victory
and
peace!

My heart
is fixed
to follow
Christ no
matter what!

May
our
only
adequacy
in
this
life
be
the
all
surpassing
beautiful
sufficiency
of
Jesus Christ
our Lord!

May our
Savior’s
majestic,
still,
small,
quiet
voice
that
gently
and
tenderly
speaks
to our
hearts,
souls,
and
minds
become
so
loud
and
clear
that
everything
else in life
is dim
in comparison
to Him!

There is nothing
more thrilling
than living
in the
immense,
magnificent
possibilities
of our God.

If we can but
encourage
or reach
one heart,
one soul,
one mind,
with the
gospel news,
that Jesus
Christ
lavishly
loves,
eagerly
pursues
and
mercifully,
graciously
and tenderly
forgives and
restores and
makes all
things new
than we bring
honor to our
Savior and
the Kingdom
of Heaven,
for such a
time as this
we have been
placed on
this earth
to love as
Jesus did.
