And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Mark 10:27
We watch, we wait, in Christ our strength to grow,
The Lord of Hosts, with legions’ mighty throes,
Sees dust-kneeled heirs and bids His grace to flow.
He knows our frame, our limits frail and slight,
Each tear a plea, a royal cry He hears,
In perfect time, His power rends the night,
Transforming drops to gems through fleeting years.
So pray, give thanks, in love unmeasured stand,
Expectant heirs of mercy’s boundless reign,
Till mountains quake beneath His mighty hand,
And all impossible dissolves in gain.
Rest still, and see His nail-scarred feet draw near,
Where crowns we cast reflect each conquered tear.
